Chapter 9- Was I Rational? Maybe Not...

Scott's POV-

Was I rational? Maybe not.

Was it necessary? Absolutely... well at least to me it was.

She was going to leave and reject me, I couldn't let her. I wouldn't let her. I locked the door and stood there for a moment, letting my actions soak in fro a minute, but not too long to think I was crazy. Was I? I mean I did just lock my unwilling mate into my bedroom and used an Alpha command to make her stay with me. Maybe I was... But that didn't matter now.

I walked down the steps and went straight for the kitchen, deciding to make breakfast for Amber and I. Her name still sent chills down my spine. As soon as I entered the room, I saw Emily on top of the counter with Josh in front of her, making out.

"Uh guys, we sort of eat there" I said, jealous that they had found and loved each other while my mate is locked in my bedroom threatening to reject me.

"Oh, um sorry..." Josh replied, quickly pulling Emily off the counter, but not before adding one last kiss and intertwining their fingers.

"Uh Josh, you have a little something right... There" I said as I hit him in the fore head with my palm.

"Ouch, someone's a little grumpy. Their mate not happy?" He asked teasingly. I growled slightly.

"No" I bit back. His wolf backed down a bit, but because he was my best friend, he only saw it fitting to tease me even further. He turned Emily around and they continued their make-out session, earning a giggle from Emily. Normally I could ignore them but right now it was irritating me, and Josh knew that.

"You guys are disgusting" I said bitterly as I walked around them and into the kitchen. Once they pulled apart, Emily looked at me with saddening eyes.

"Maybe I could talk to her? See why she's so angry?" She asked tenderly. I smiled in response.

Once Emily made breakfast for everyone and Amber, she began to take it upstairs. I followed after to listen but Emily stopped me.

"No pup, you're staying here' she said with one finger on my chest. I began to pout, almost begging, which I might add is extremely rare. If you do come across it, it's irresistible. Which made me mad when Emily denied me, man she's good. "Honey, I have Josh for a mate, I can handle the pout" she said as she turned on her heels. Damn it Josh! I soon gave up and decided to pound Emily for answers later.
