Scott
"Oh come on. Yah, it was stupid, yah i regret it, but its in the past! Just get over it!" Alex said to me.
I scoffed. "I dont think that the chances of that happening are very high. How would you react if i had done that with Mitch?"
He bit his lip. "Thats different-"
"No its not! I walked in, on our fifth year aniversary, to find you with your tounge down Jakes throat! How do you think that feels?" I yelled at my soon-to-be-ex-boyfriend.
Alex rolled his eyes, and left the apartment that me and him had bought after Mitch moved back to Texas.
Wyatt seemed soothed in his absense.
"Oh Wy-wy. I miss Mitchie." I said, bending down to pet the purring sphynx cat.
Wyatt perked up at hearing Mitch's name. He got up, pawing at my phone.
I sighed.
"You want me to call him, dont you?" I asked.
Wyatt meowed, eliminating any doubt. We both missed Mitch.
"Fine, fine." I mumbled, dialing his number.
"Hello?" A sweet, soothing, make-you-forget-about-everything voice said.
"Hey... do you have a minute?" I asked.
Mitch laughed. "Of course i do! In the two years since PTX split ways, ive had NOTHING but time!"
"I figured, but thought id ask anyways. I have a problem."
I heard rustling, and could envision him getting comfy for a good gossip session.
"Spill it!" He demanded.
I laughed. "Its my anniversary with Alexander today."
"Eww. Full name? Not good. Its been five or so years, though... what couldve happened?"
"I may have walked in on him and Jake swallowing each others tounges..." I said, slowly.
"Oh. My. God! Shut up! Really?" Mitch was surprised, apparently.
"Yeppers. What do I do?"
Mitch laughed. "If I had it my way, you'd be here on my bed, quiet and peacefull."
I raised my invisible eyebrow.
"Really? Somehow I doubt that..." I questioned.
He snorted. "I didnt say what we would be doing! We could be doing exactly what they just did, but more," his voice dropped to a sexy drawl, "physical."
I coughed, my face going red.
"Dont say it wouldnt be fun. It would. You dont want that, and I accept that. That doesnt mean I wont try, though." He said, not embarrassed in the slightest.
"Fair point... but honest advice please?" I asked.
Mitch sighed. "Talk to the idiot. Ask why. And think about if you're ever going to be able to get that trust back. Again, its all up to you."

"How long has this been going on?" I asked Alex later, at a coffee shop.
He toyed with his latte.
"Ummm... a few months, I think. A while."
I looked at him, trying to gleam some understanding from him.
"But why?"
He shrugged. "I wanted to, I guess. I feel like I dont really love you, but I've loved him for pretty much ever."
"You... you dont love me?" I whispered.
His eyes widened, as he realized his mistake. His shoulders slumped.
"Yah. I dont think I ever did. Lust, maybe... but not love."
My upset turned to anger. "Then why the hell did you scare Mitch away? How could you do that to us?" I yelled.
A few people were staring at this point, but i couldnt care less.
"You drove away the only thing that makes me happy!"
I started to sob.
He looked down. "Im sorry, Scott."
With that, he did the only thing he seemed to be able to do- he left.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Last flight leaving for Arlington, Texas. Last call for boarding." A voice rang out through the airport P.A.
I grabbed my bag, and got on the plane.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
At touchdown, I stepped into the small airport.
I couldnt see him, but an instinctual nudge directed me to my favourite midget.
"Hey, Mitchy."
He pulled me into a tight hug.
"Never leave me again."
"I wouldnt dare to." I promised.
With that, we went back to his house.
And as he had wished, we were on his bed, very physically. The only thing missing was the quiet.
(A/N- So, that was all over the place... I'm trying! I promise these will eventually get better!)
