A/n- i watched Kinky Boots today at the Royal Alexandra Theater in downtown Toronto today. Incorporating that into this one shot. Ps- taking artistic liberties for characters.

I watched the stage infront of me, bored.
I hadnt even wanted to come and see this musical, but here i was.
Someone had sent me a ticket to the musical KINKY BOOTS, with a box seat. Not knowing who had sent it, and not being able to return the ticket to them, made me want to go and see the soldout show.
I arrived right before the opening.
Slipping into my seat, i glanced at the other person in the box. There was a petite male with italian features and a sharp statement hairstyle.
Three other people entered the box before the start of the performance. One was an african-american male with short hair. Another was a caucasian male with long dark hair, and a puffy groomed beard. His eyes were a stunning green. The third was a caucasian female with blonde hair, blue eyes, and a crooked smile. She was on the short side.
The first act of the musical was amazing. Beautiful costumes, on point vocals, humerous dialouge. I loved it.
During the intermission, i got chatting with the people in my box.
The small italian was named Mitch. I noted that he had stunning chocolate eyes, with slight flecks of gold. He was too shy to really talk to us.
The african was named Kevin. I noticed a cello charm on his wrist, and found out that he was a cello boxer. It was like beatboxing, but while playing the cello. A video that i looked up while in the bathroom showed that he was freaking amazing.
The bearded male was named Avi, and i found out that he was a bass who could do overtones. He demonstrated, shocking me. He had a really deep voice.
The blonde was named Kirstin. She was a very talkative, cheery person. She was also a singer, an alto. She seemed like one of those people whos dog could be killed and sold to a chinese restaraunt, and still be cheerfull.
She also knew Mitch.
"Whos he?" I had asked her.
Her face lit up. "Mitchell Coby Micheal Grassi. He goes by Mitch. Hes a counter tenor. Umm... what can i tell you about Mitchy?" She pondered that for a minute, her mouth twitching to the side thoughtfully.
Her eyes lit up. "Oh! I know! Hes a solo singer, here for a mini tour-"
"So like me?" Everyone said at the same time.
I gazed at everyone in amazement. "Wait... where did you get your tickets?" I asked.
"I was given them!" They all said in sync again.
"What else about Mitch?" I inquired. The italian had caught my interest.
"Well, i know a LOT, being as i dated him and everything." Kirstie said.
My smile fell. "Oh..."
She didnt notice, and continued talking.
"Well, hes really fasion obsessed- he wants to be a frigging Vetments model! Hes also in love with Spynx cats, starbucks, weirdly accenting words, and this cute little japanese cartoon. Oh, and hes gay. Really gay. SUPER gay." She finished with a smirk.
I gaped at her.
She smiled, flipping her hair.
Intermission ended, and the musical continued.
"I can totally get Lola's feelings here. My parents didnt accept me either at first." Mitch murmurred to me.
I gaped at his voice. He hadnt said anything to anyone else.
His voice was higher than i was used to for a male. It sounded like he was singing, even though he was just talking. It was lovely.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Well, Lolas dad was a wrestler, and wanted him to be the same thing. He also was against him expessing his feminine side. For me, ive always expressed my feminine side, though not how Lola does." He replied.
"Makes sense. Ive never been accepted, either. People dont accept gay people that much." I said with a shrug.
He smiled. "I do, being one and everything. Id assume you are as well?" He asked, hope in his voice.
I leaned over to kiss him on the cheek.
"I would say so..." i murmurred.
"You busy after the show? My hotel is just around the corner..." he suggested, his brown eyes blaring.
"I would think so."
