So I was writing a paragraph for English and this somewhat happened and then I built on it. No regrets, honestly. Although my English teacher might be a bit concerned now.

The fire was magnificent in its own destructive way. It consumed everything in its path. Like a roaring animal, clawing, biting, screaming into the night. It held no concern for the once-bright-eyed young boy who watched from a distance as his home- and all of his family- burned to nothing.
"I'll avenge you, Mother. Father."
"I promise."

The dark-haired boy walked down the stairs, feeling the polished wooden railing beneath his hand. The halls and everything within them had been restored quite authentically, but the atmosphere of the home no longer felt quite like home to him.
"Shall I prepare your afternoon tea, Young Master?" The man- or rather, the demon with a man's face- asked him.
"I do not need to remind you of your duties."
"Of course, Young Master."

The boy looked into the eyes of another boy. In sentiment, they were parallels, however; the similarities ended there. The blonde-haired boy faced the dark-haired one, blood pooling around them. For once, the boy felt no disgust at the filth seeping into his clothes.
"I just wanted to be loved." The other boy cried.
"I just wanted my life. My family. My happiness. My innocence." Walking away, he looked back to deal his final cruel words to the now-dying young murderer.
"I guess we can't have everything."

"From now on, you are to be my butler for eternity."
"Of course, Young Master."
The boy smiled, his first real smile since his family died, and they rode away, the countryside blurring around them.
