Chapter Four

      Selene's eyes flutter open and take in her surroundings. She's in a cave and the is fire burning out in front of her.   She's sitting on something warm and comfortable, the question is what? Selene looks down and sees a pair of legs under her own. Her breathe catches in her throat and she slowly looks up. Icy blue meet forest green and all hell breaks loose. Selene screeches and shoot upwards slamming her head into the perverts face. The man yells out in shock and Selene scrambles to the other side of the cave.
     "You perverted, pointy-eared freak!" She screeches to Raven who is currently glaring daggers at her.
     "Sorry for trying to keep you from freezing to death you ungrateful little brat." He growls at her.
     "I'm fifteen you dumbass and you look the same age as me, you perverted elf!" She screeches at him.
     "We may be the same age but I have a much higher maturity level."
     "Oh really how would you know? That's right you don't because you don't know me!"
     "You practically scream spoiled rich girl who can't do any-" SLAP! Raven's head snaps to the side. He looks back at Selene in shock.
    "You don't know anything about me." She hisses out of clenched teeth.
     "Oooohhhhh! You just got told!" Klaus says laughing hysterically.
     Selene takes some deep breaths trying to calm herself down. Once calm she opens back up her eyes and sees Raven staring at her with his mouth open in shock.
     "Dang you can practically taste the sexual tension in the air." Klaus says in amusement. Selene and Raven ignore him and continue staring at each other, Raven still in shock.
     "Close your mouth before you catch flies.' Selene says calmly, surprisingly Raven takes her advice.
     "You hit me," he says in surprise.
      "You were being an asshat." Selene replies as if it is the most obvious thing in the world. Raven continues to stare at her in questioningly.
      "Anyways........what's the plan?" Selene asks awkwardly.
      "What do you mean what's the plan?" Raven replies.
      "Well.... I have absolutely no idea where I am and you are the only person I've met so far."
      "That doesn't mean I have to help you."
       "Fine, but it's on you if I get eaten by a blood thirsty monster." Selene says in a sing song voice.
        "You hate me don't you?"
        "No....I just love making your life a living hell." She says sarcastically.
        "Great, of house out of alleged of the creatures in this realm, it had to be me that had a psychopath fall on them."
        "Yeah, you got lucky didn't you."
         "Sure I did. Anyway we need to get moving, if we're going to make it to the Dark Kingdom by the end of the week."
        "Wait you're actually going to help me."
         "Yeah I didn't go through all the trouble of keeping you alive just so you could go walk into your grave."
          "That actually very noble of you."
          "Don't get used to it."
    Frost and Shadow enter the cave and walk over to Selene. Selene and Raven explain what's going on and get ready to head out.
        "Raven," Shadow calls out to the dark haired elf.
        "What," he replies.
        "How'd you get that red mark on your face?"
Selene and Klaus burst into laughter while Raven grumbles under his breath. Something about a stupid girl and stupid familiar.
        "Was it something I said?" Shadow asks in confusion.
