Chapter Five

Selene trudges through the wet foliage covering the path. Raven walks in front of her with a bow drawn. Where does he keep getting his weapons? Frost, Shadow, and Klaus are surrounding them. Shadow and Frost flanking them and Klaus bringing up the rear.
What happened when we got attacked by those demons. I saw Raven go down and everything went black.
They've been walking since dawn and now it is dusk. Shadow breaks off from formation and disappears through the foliage. Selene's feet begin to ache. Suddenly a loud growl comes from the direction that Shadow stalked. A glowing ball bursts through the trees with a sparkly Shadow chasing it. The glowing ball races towards Selene and flys down her shirt.
"Eeehhh!!!" Selene screeches and starts jumping up and down shaking out her shirt. Raven smirks at her and walks over. He tangles his hand in her hair and tilts her head back.
What is he doing?
Raven seals his lips over her own. Selene freezes in shock and her eyes go wide. She slowly relaxes into the kiss and wraps her arms around his neck. He smirks into the kiss and slips his other hand under her shirt. Selene is so far gone she doesn't even realize what he's doing. Raven's hand inches up her side and he reaches the edge of her bra. Attached to her bra, holding on for dear life is the glowing ball. He wraps his hand around the thing and pulls his hand away. He slowly detaches his lips from Selene's and rests his forehead against hers. Selene's face is red and she's panting slightly. She pulls away and looks up at him.
"Why'd you kiss me?" Selene asks in confusion.
"I didn't want to get slapped," Raven replies as if it was obvious.
"Why would I slap you?" Selene questions. Raven holds up the hand currently holding the glowing ball. Selene's face goes red with anger. SLAP!
"Bastard!" Selene shouts in anger and spins on her heel stalking to where Frost and Shadow watch in shock.
"Slapped twice in one day. Must be a new record." Klaus says while laughing.
"Shut it you blasted cat." Raven growls out in irritation. A tinkling sound comes from Raven's hand. Selene glances at it and her eyes go wide in shock. It's a fairy! The fairy's blonde with shoulder length hair. She's wearing a tan flower petal dress with green tips. It comes up and wraps around her neck like a halter top. You also where matching arm bands that wrap around her upper arm. Her wings are tree like with a bark like texture and color at the base and slowly turning green as the wing protrude farther out with little leaves on the end. She's adorable!
"Shut up you stupid fairy. What are you doing here any way? Your kind tends to avoid my kind." Raven asks impatiently.
"If it wasn't for the savior I wouldn't even be talking to you." The little fairy says cheekily.
"Who's the savior?" Selene asks questioningly.
"Why it's you of course." The fairy says kindly gazing at her as if she is the most important thing in the world.
       "What do you mean?" Selene asks in confusion.
        "Listen I would love to spend all day answering your questions, my lady, but sadly we have an appointment to keep."
     "What do you mean an appointment?"
      "I mean two people who are extremely important would like to talk to you."
     "Who?"
