"Mia, wake up, my love." I stretched and rolled over to see a grinning Steven Tyler, holding a tray of breakfast on it.

"Breakfast in bed? What did I do that's so special?" I sat up and giggled, as Steven set the tray down on the bed, and climbed in with me. He picked up a strawberry, with a little dollop of whipped cream, and took a small bite.

"Oh come on, tell me you didn't forget." He giggled, with a mouth full of food.

I turned and looked at the clock on my bedside table. 5:45 am, October 24th.

"Ugh. It's so early." I yawned, closing my eyes. I peeled my lids back slowly and then all at one, shot up out of bed, almost knocking over the champagne and strawberries Steven brought to bed for us.

"OH MY GOD. TODAY'S THE DAY OF MY AMERICAN IDOL AUDITION." I started freaking out, I ran into the shower and scrubbed myself raw, washing my hair, and shaving and managing to do it in less than 5 minutes. I jumped out of the shower and ran into the closet, throwing on a pair of faded jeans, and my favorite black combat boots, and my big fluffy marroon Brandy Mellville sweater. I quickly dried and curled my hair, and applied some make up, and at 6:30, I was ready to walk out the door. I made myself a quick cup of tea, putting it in my favorite Aerosmith travel mug, and grabbed my keys.

"Baby, I'll be back later, wish me luck!" I ran into the bedroom, and kissed Steven goodbye.

"Okay, I'll probably come visit you, in a little bit." He giggled.

I ran out of the bed room, and into the garage. I decided to drive Gunner, the Audi r8 Spyder that Steven bought me for Christmas, because he was fast, and could get me to the auditions on time.

Because Steven and I were living at his house in Columbia, South Carolina, it was still warm enough to put the top down on the r8, but still cold enough to wear a sweater, so my drive was perfect.

I plugged my IPod into the speakers and blasted, none other than Aerosmith.

It's been about 4 months since the band broke up after they had a fight at their last show of the tour we finished in June. Yeah, I was upset about it, but I still kept in touch with Lauren, and saw Joe occasionally when I was with Lauren. What really upset me though, is that Joe and Steven haven't spoken since, and I could tell how upset it made Steven. He hasn't been the same since. They're brothers. They shouldn't go this long without speaking to one another.

Ironically, the Auditions were being held in the Performing Arts Center of USC. A place I just so happened to be farmiliar with, and since I still had my USC Student Parking Pass, I got a very close spot. I got funny looks from people as I put Gunner's top back on, and got out, locking the car behind me.

I walked up to the registration table, and smiled at the woman sitting down.

"Hi, how are you, today?" The woman smiled at me.

"Nervous." I giggled, shivering as a gust of wind blew through the doors of the center.

"Don't be, love. I'm sure you'll be fine." She smiled "What's your name?"

"Mia Lynn Parker." I stated.

"Okay, Mia, you'll be the first one in today. The doors open at 8, and it's about 7:30 now, so you have a little time to find a quiet spot and warm up or something. Good luck, dear."

"Thank you." I smiled and walked away. I found a spot close to the door where I was supposed to go in for auditions. Just then, Ryan Seacrest came up to me, hoping for an interview.

"Why hello there." He said grinning.

"Hi, there. You must be Ryan Seacrest." I smiled, shaking his hand.
