"Good luck tonight, Baby. I know you'll kill it." Steven said, kissing me on the forehead as I was getting my make-up done.
"Thanks." I sighed, as he walked out of the room.
Everyone's been acting so weird since the Sunday dinner, or rather when Steven decided to come kick me out of the recording studio. He's been saying weird things and giving me funny looks and just been acting weird and it's getting under my skin. I asked him about it multiple times, and he's just been unresponsive and it's annoying. Ohh well, I decided I wasn't going to let it bother me.
I was going to go out and have a kick ass performance tonight, and by the end of tomorrow night, we'll know who the top 3 are.
I got changed into my tight leather leggings, my 'rocker-girlfriend' boots as Steven calls them, a white sheer button up, half way unbuttoned, with a black bandeau underneath, and a cropped leather jacket, that matched my boots. For good luck, I drapped one of Steven's scarves around my neck. When I was done fixing my hair, the rest of the contestants and I were called up to the big bleecher area on the stage, to get ready for the show

As we got through the show I started getting a little nervous, I was doing a Joan Jett cover, and trying to add in Steven's showman's flair, and this time I wasn't using my guitar, and I'm not sure if that's the right decision for me.
We got through the line up, Lauren and Alex both singing some beautiful ballad
Scotty as usual, whipping out the country classic, and Jared sticking to some cheesy pop song that's overplayed on the radio.
It was finally my turn to perform.
I walked up to the stage, winked at Steven, and then tied the scarf I was wearing around the microphone stand, which got the audiences attention. Hearing the crowd roar like that got my adrenaline pumping, and I instantly got this natural high. I suddenly wasn't so scared about not having my guitar anymore.
The music started and I danced around the microphone stand just like Steven often did. then just before I was supposed to sing, I grabbed the stand, pulling it to me, by the scarf I tied around it. I opened my mouth and began to sing.
"I saw him dancing there by the record machine
I knew he must've been about seventeen
The beat was going strong
Playing my favorite song
And I could tell it wouldn't be long till he was with me, yeah me
And I could tell it wouldn't be long till he was with me, yeah me."
Because I modeled my stage appearence after Steven, I noticed the judges making a joke out of my performance, which is actually exactly what I wanted.
"Singing, I love Rock n' Roll
So put another dime in the jukebox, Steven!" I winked and pointed at him, and then went over to the left end of the stage, and grabbed a few people hands. I got up and began to really feel the music.
"I love Rock n' Roll
So come and take your time and dance with me!
Owwwww!"
I let out a scream just like Steven does, and I nailed it. I hit the right note, and my natural verbrata completely complimented the length of time I held the note for.
