I stepped out onto the stage with Lucielle in my hand, and her strap around my neck.

On a lighter whimsical note, I took 2 of Steven's scarves, and tired them around the microphone.

I heard the crowd roar, and eventually settle down. I noticed Joe, and Lauren in the crowd with baby Beth. I smirked at Joe, and winked, and then I began to play the opening bluesy chords for 'The Grind'.

I could feel every ounce of pent up emotion I had from this past week, flow out through my finger tips and radiate through my guitar.

I stepped closer to the decorated mic and began to sing;

"I never thought a first time love would ever last.

How could a kiss like that, knock me flat on my ass?

The burning bed.

The rose's dead.

And now I'm dancing with myself."

My raw hard emotions came out and I stared directly at Steven and sang the chorus to him, almost as if I was having in intimate conversation with him.

"Yeaahh, I'm missing you!

Just like you want me too

You made me trip into the Grind.

Now I can't get'choo off of my mi-i-i-ind."

I added a little more flare with the guitar in between the chorus and the second verse, but I saved the big surprise for the guitar solo.

"Steven, your sweet talkin, hip shakin' wobble

gonna blow a girl away.

Kiss butt, and guess what?

Even double crossin' dogs have their days.

So forget about

Regret about you

I ain't afraid to say"

Again I added more flare to the last note, holding it out longer and continuing to raise my voice until I entered the next octave, then stayed up there for the chorus, obtaining that sexy rasp Steven loves so much.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm missing you

just like you want me too

you made me trip into the Grind

now I can't get'choo off

And the more I try

Leads to the same old why

You made me slip into the Grind

Now I cant get you off of the cloud we was on

Now it's all gone

Tell me why, why, why, why why

I ain't not getting through

ain't no lie there out of love...love...love-"

I pointed at Steven and sang this next part to him, again.

"Tell me was it good.. for you?

Tell me what you want......"

Again I raised my voice to the next octave, getting the desired results.

"Yeah cause I'm missing you

Just like you knew I'd do,

You made me trip into the Grind
