Gotta Love It

I walked into the dark room, and saw a path made of spotlights shining down, which lead to a small stage with the judges sitting on it, and a lone chair, which was for me, facing them. I started the long walk down the path. I stepped up onto the stage, and hugged Randy and Jennifer, and then kissed Steven on the cheek, then took my seat.

"So how was your double date, today?" Jennifer smirked

"It was very fun." I blushed

"Yeah, Steven told us all about it. You guys are just adorable." Randy chuckled

"Thank you." Steven and I said at the same time. We looked at each other and then chuckled. 

"So, Mia. You know we can only have 24 people continue on past this point..." Randy began

"And 21 people already made it through, which means there's very limited spots..." Jennifer finished for him.

"I know. I'm fully aware of that." I sighed a little 

"Let's take a quick look back to your final performance for us, yesterday." She said as she pointed to a flat screen television which was resting on a stand at the end of the stage. 

They played back to footage, and we all watched as I strummed my Lucille, and sang Steven's 'Cry Me A River'. When the clip ended they all turned back to me.

"See, even watching the clip over, I still get goosebumps!" She said, rubbing her arms. "Absolutely beautiful." She smiled

"Thank you. It really means a lot." I blushed

"You were right, when you said you could sing it better than I could," Steven giggled. 

"No, Steven, don't say that. I was kidding." I felt a little bad.

"No, seriously. We all agreed." He said, pointed at the other judges. I blushed even more and giggled a little, which made Steven grin that sexy, knee-weakening, grin. 

"Oh, can we get on with it? Steven just tell the poor girl she's in the top 24, and let her move into the mansion already." Jennifer smiled.

"Impatient, aren't we?" Steven joked "But, yeah. Baby, you're moving into the mansion. As if you didn't already know." He grinned and got up to hug me. I stood up as he wrapped his arms around me, and kissed me. "Congrats, Mia," 

"Thank you, so much." I smiled and squeezed him tightly. Then, I walked over to Randy and Jennifer, and gave them each a hug and a kiss. I couldn't stop grinning as I walked down the run way.

"Damn, look at my beautiful rock star." Steven called out behind me. I smiled, as I looked back over my shoulder at him, and blew him a kiss.

"So...?!" Lauren and Scotty both were jumping out of their seats when I walked back into the little waiting area. "Did you make it?!"

"Yep." I said, grinning. 

They both started jumping up and down and yelling and dancing. "And I'm assuming you guys made it too?" 

"Yeah," Lauren said

"But Aly didn't." Scotty finished her sentence. 

"Ohh." I felt kind of bad, but yet again, I was getting a little tired of her making googly eyes at Steven all the time. "Well, we're moving into the mansion, tomorrow!" I exclaimed "Aren't you excited!" 

"Yeah! Oh my goodness!" They jumped up and down.

I woke up the next morning, to Steven Scotty and Lauren all rushing around the hotel room.
