"Contestants, can you please come up on stage, and stand right here?" Ryan Seacrest said, pointing to the center of the stage. Then, he turned to a camera, and began his little speech, addressing America.

"Last night, Jared was, unfortunately, voted off, which leaves us with Lauren Alaina, Scotty McCreery, Alexandra Stav, and Mia Lynn Parker" He said, as the camera caught a glimpse of each of us. "Tonight, one more person will be voted off the show, and then the long 3 week stretch begins to find the.. Next American Idol!" He grinned

"Now, contestants," He paused, walking over to us, "Each of you will perform a quick song, picked out by the judges, and at the end, America will vote for their top 3. Are you ready?" He asked us

We looked around at each other and smiled, "Yes!" We all replied

"Okay, then judges, go ahead and give the contestants their songs!" Ryan smiled

We all stood there, grinning at the judges, who were in a small conference, deciding our songs. 

Finally, Randy turned around, smiling

"Lauren, we've heard you sing beautiful ballads, and we all love your voice, but we haven't really seen alot of spunk out of you, which is something an American Idol should have. So, we're gonna ask you to sing 'Cowboy Cassanova' by Carrie Underwood. It's really spunky and just a fun song. So go ahead back stage, and you'll have a half hour to memorize and sing the song." He said, as Lauren skipped off the stage.

"Scotty, baby, we want you to sing something a little more Rock than Country, but we still want you to infuse your country twang, so we're going to give you 'Welcome To The Jungle' by Guns n' Roses. You can go ahead back stage, and prepare your song." Jennifer smiled. "And Alexandra, tonight, we want you to sing something a little softer, and sweeter, not so much of the upbeat pop songs you've been performing for us this whole time, so we're going to give you, 'Set Fire To The Rain' by Adele. Go ahead and prepare for it, honey." She smiled again. 

"Mia." Steven grinned. "Baby, you've shelled out everything you've got, for us. You've given us soft and slow ballads, upbeat pop songs, and even taken a crack at immitating me." He smiled at the memory. "We're honestly unsure of what to give you, because we've seen it all... But we we're thinking 'Vienna' By Billy Joel, would be a good match to see what you've got. So baby, go ahead back stage, and begin to prepare your song." He grinned a full grin.

All I could think to myself was how lucky I was. I've been singing Vienna since I was a little girl, and I first learned to play the Piano. I've got it down pact. I found the old practicing Piano in a room behind the stage, and sat down on the cool leather seat.

I lifted the lid, and ran my fingers across the cool ivory, and ran through the song a few times. It amazed me how much of the song I remembered. 

About 20 minutes later, a stagehand came and gave me my 10 minute warning. I warmed up my vocals and sang the song twice, before he came back and lead me out onto the stage. 

Lauren, Scotty, and Alex all did such an amazing job on their songs, it actually kind of worried me a little bit. 

Finally, it was my turn.
