i feel most confident
wearing sweatshirts that zip up the middle.
sweatshirts with sleeves so long, you could get lost in the endless tumbling of the fabric.
wear it open, a black shirt underneath.
preferably loose, that shirt.
slip on a pair of patterned leggings, or blue skinny jeans.
blue skinny jeans that add a little length on the end, so there's room for growing.
tie your shoulder-length hair back into a half-up,
half-down sort of style.
embellish the look with a bronze-looking necklace, with feather, arrow and heart charms
hanging on the end,
representing three things.
one, the arrow, to go along with the quote,
"life is like a bow, and you are the arrow. it pulls you back before launching you into something great."
two, the feather, to represent
hope,
that one day, i will be okay.
three, the heart, to remind me that
it is always a virtue to love those that support you.
slip on white socks, and pull on converse over those.
dirty, mucky, banged-up old converse they are.
but they hold many memories.
look in the mirror, see that?
you
look
beautiful.
i feel most confident
wearing what makes me happy.
