when i find myself in times of trouble, i look the the purple-blue sky.
because i know that amidst all the problems that the world has, beauty resides. and i know that among the deaths, the sickness, and the sadness, there will always be a purple-blue sky.
for me, that purple-blue sky means hope. it means that someday, everything will be okay. it means that someday, i'll be able to look at it and think about how beautiful it is.
for me, that purple-blue sky also means room for error. i understand that i will mess up. it won't make me any less upset, but knowing that everyone else will and does gives me a sense of security.
it also represents the beauty in life itself. it represents the smiles you've given people, it reveals the glimmer of happiness that my eyes will someday hold. it shows the endless swirls of navy blue and violet, the blue and white stars twinkling. it even shines a light on the endless nature we have. the lush, emerald trees, the brown-speckled fawns, the vibrant, sun-loving flowers. everything gives off a sentiment that lets you know that you are alive.
that same purple-blue sky shows me that there are so many beautiful people in the world. those people live with a smile, and when they can't, they tell themselves that they can get through this and push on. these people help others at whatever chance they get, even if it's as small as a smile passing by.
this beautiful, breathtaking purple-blue sky shows me hope, room for error, beauty, and kindness.
what does it show you?
