For the next hour, Asher and Weeko tried their best to explain to Kal what had happened. Kal raised an eyebrow to the name Necros but stayed quiet.
Asher ended off with, "The only way we can fight him if we have the help of all of the Elementalists."
Kal sat there processing their information then stood up.
"Come," he said, "There is something I think you should see."
He lead them to his room and picked up a book off the floor. It was filled with child stories.
"This is a book of stories my mother used to read to me." Kal explained, "I recognize the name Necros from here."
He continued to turn the pages until he found what he was looking for.
"Ah ha! I found it!" He exclaimed in excitement, "It says here that Necros was an evil Elementalist from thousands of years ago. The term Necromancer came from him."
"If he was from thousands of years ago, why is he still here?" Weeko asked.
"Hey, I don't know. I'm just getting this off a bedtime story. It doesn't explain much. He was more a nightmare to scare the young ones." Kal explained.
"If he was from thousands of years ago than he's much more powerful than we thought." Asher said in dismay.
"And that's why I'm coming with you," Kal said, "He really does have the power to rule everything. We need all the help we can get."
"So you're with us?" Asher asked.
"Of course, it's my job to help. That's what us Elementalists do." Kal said.
"Um, I'm not an Elementalist." Weeko said.
"You're not. You're just a good person." Asher said. They all looked at each other and laughed. The next member of their party was on board.
