Asher woke up breathing hard. He really needed to stop dreaming. He looked over and saw Kal sleeping. It must've been Weeko's watch. He decided he might as well take his turn now, it wasn't like he was going to be able to fall asleep again. He peeked his head out of the tent to look for Weeko. He saw her bow and arrow on the ground, but no sign of Weeko. Asher crawled back into the tent and shook Kal awake.
"Kal." Asher whispered, "Weeko's gone."
Kal immediately sat up, wide awake. "What happened to her?" he asked
"I don't know, but I think I have an idea." He answered. The two of them walked out of the tent and looked around to find Weeko.
"Over here!" Kal called, pointing at the ground. Asher walked over and saw what he was pointing at. There were little footprints on the ground. By the looks of it there were many of them. The trail lead deeper into the woods.
"What do you think made these?" Kal asked
"I don't know," Asher said, "But I bet that if we follow these footprints we'll find Weeko."
"But I don't see any footprints that could be hers." Kal said worried.
"Let's hope they carried her out." Asher said, afraid to imagine the alternative.
