"Claire where are you now?" I called her after stomping off the car.

" At my college campus ..why what happen?" She asked sounding worried.

" Can you meet me like right now??" I begged like a 6 year old.

" Darling just come to my campus i got some assignments to hand out and then i'll just make an excuse and we are out ..fine??"

" sure thank you ..i'm on my way"

20mins later..

" and then i slapped him" i explained .

" That asshole needs his balls ripped out and i'll gladly do it" she fumed.

" hey..hey..calm down anyways can i stay at your place for a day or two" i begged yet again.

" duh..do you need to ask"

" you are my guardian angel i'm sure now" I smiled and hugged her.

" Mason be a good boy and brush you teeth before going to bed ..OK??" I instructed him through the phone.

" yes but why cant you be here ...who will tell me bedtimes stories today and cook me tasty food tomorrow! " he whined.

"Darling i'll come running to you when i am done with my work here..Pinky promise!" I lied but I couldn't really tell him the reason for being absent there could I!

" ok then " he agreed.

"Ohh..and can you tell Madric to check his email ?" i requested him as I had sent him the medicines Mason had to take tomorrow and as I didn't wanted to talk to him directly I thought this was the best way.

2days later...

My phone buzzed and the caller id said Cold Blooded Prince -_-

His first call in two days...what a shameless man.

" hello" i stated monotonely.

" Ms. Waters i think two days is a lot of time to take an off from work ?"

Asshole! This is why he called?? I hope he dies and becomes an ugly monkey!!

" Is that all you gotta say to me Mr. Base?" I promped him to as for forgiveness.

" umm..actually i wanted to say.......umm..you have to come here as Mason got into trouble!"

That was all I had to hear to rush towards the Base hotel.

" I'm coming in 15 mins" I said that and hung up.

Madric's POV

" Did she just slap me Max?" I asked the driver.

" Yes sir i suppose she did!" he answered stiffing a laugh.

" but why....i was helping her.... didnt she had loans to pay off... "

" Sir there are two types of womens in this world one who runs after money for an easy life and the other who wants to earn it herself and Amanda is the latter so offering her money wasnt a great idea on your part!"

I reached home deep in thought of what happened today.

" Maddy ..Amanda called me to tell you to check you email !" he conveyed the message and ran away with a brush and toothpaste on each side of his hand.

I didnt realized up until now how depended we had become to her.

I tossed my phone which i had been holding for the past 3 hours trying to mutter up the courage to call her but couldnt and checked my email in which all the information about the medicines that Mason had to take for the day and the next where written down.

2days later..

No calls from her whatsoever..yaya i know ..i should have called her but....

Uggghh...why are women soooo complicated!!

I dailed her number..it was now or never!

" hello" she answered in a monotone voice.

She waited for my reply and i didnt knew what to say .... so i did what i did best..Act like a cold hearted boss.

" Ms. Waters i think two days is a lot of time to take an off from work ?"

" Is that all you gotta say to me Mr. Base?" She questioned.

" umm..actually i wanted to say....umm..you have to come here because Mason got into trouble" Seriously whats wrong with me what a horrible improvisation. Now what will i say when she comes here.

There was a silent pause on her side.

" ok will be there in 15 mins" and the call ended .
