Ch -37

After a long pregnant pause i said.

" You killed Her? " In a hoarse, broken voice.

A millions questions running through my mind.

" Yes.. The hoe he couldnt get over before! " She answered distantly. Walking away to the large window she once stood a minute ago, the left part of her body leaning in a fashionable manner.

" What do you mean by before... " i inquired sitting down to the nearest Furniture for support.

" He has fallen for you ..i can see it! "She growled irritatedly.

I was about to object when she spoke up!

" Do you know we have known each other from kindergarten? Hah..how would you! You just came recently into his life! " She spitted bitterly.

I didnt had an idea they knew each other for that long.

" We were inseparable..maybe because both our parents were too busy for us.But college changed him or to be precise Eugene' s arrival.
She got his love and attention while i drifted away from him until i become someone he had just attended kindergarden with! " She said in a melancholic tone as if talking to herself than to an audience.

"I transfer my college to California not wanting the bullshit lovey-dovey actions to be happening right in front of me but what i didnt knew was that just one week after my transfer, Eugene had vanished into thin air , reason unknown!"

"When i returned to NYC after 2 years my only motive was to get Madric by hook or by crook even if he was a married man or not...which luckily he wasnt!"

"So why did you kill Eugene?" I questioned boldly standing up. Not wanting to beat around the bush any longer.

Discretely wiping the sweat from my palms onto the hem of my dress.

Yes i was scared but i didnt show.

" Now now now ...i set the time of the climax not you, so sit there quietly and listen ..its not everyday you hear a crime confession!" She said gulping the whole wine content from the wine glass at ones."

" So were was i ..ohh ya , me coming back to NYC..hmm so i immediately bought 40% of the shares in the BASE EMPIRE and not_so_accidentally bumped into Mrs. Base. She loved me instantly or my money and status. Who wouldnt i was one of the richest MODEL /BUSINESS WOMEN . Marriage seemed close then because of Mrs. Base's continuous indication to Madric!"

I couldn't sit still like this and let her kill me...yes I wasn't delutional to think that I would survive after hearing a criminal confession so I did what I should have done from the start of this conversation.

I took hold of my small purse which contained my cellphone.

Very quickly and quietly while she continued talking i dialled the first person in my emergency call list.

My Cold-blooded Husband.

Her instinct told her to run away but she went against it.

This was the only way Madric could know the truth and stop blaming himself.

" Hello...hello..Amanda"! I heard Madric answer through the phone.

I lowered the volume and stuffed the phone underneath a light cushion.

" Madric refused for months when eventually he was about to give it..I knew it . But I all got ruined when she appeared again with a sick 1 year old she claims to be his and that the reason she vanished was because she didn't wanted to dump her pregnancy on him...how sweet right ??but the why come back after 2 years then!" She shouted angrily slamming the empty glass on the wall next to me.

I let out a quick scream because the glass had just missed me by inches.

I didn't knew if Madric could hear our conversation but it was a risk I had to take and see what happened.

" I wanted to kill her that instance but that would ruined everything so I waited for the right time, hired a man to kill her . He did his job perfectly , hitting the car she was in while Madric had gone out of the car to buy some flowers for her. I saw the whole think via video the man made. The car flew from the impact rotating and falling back into the ground with a loud thud.
Madric rushing out but it was too late she was taking her last breathe and after whispering some things to Madric which I couldn't hear , she passed away.
But I forgot to plan out one thing at that time. Mason wasn't there inside the car unfortunately! " She pouted innocently turning around.

" I'll just have to do something about him soon!" She shrugged which infuriating me.

Was taking a life such a child's play for her?

" You will not touch a hair on his body!" I warned abruptly walking towards her.

" I'm so scared! Mommy save me..ohh I remember ..I DON'T HAVE ONE!" she taunted .

" Nobody threatens me..got it missy ! " She warned walking towards me dangerously.

I looked around for possible weapons and spotted on.

A vase ,just 10 walks away.

I ran for it but when my hand was inches away from grabbing it, something hard hit my head and I fell on the ground . Numb!

Sorry for not keeping my promise of updating but I had really horrible network ...so I couldn't do anything about it.

And a good news for u all " THE NEW NANNY" has reached the rank upto #136 in Romance but then it dropped again ..competition it's FIERCE.... lol!!!

So as the book is almost coming to an end I was hoping that the silent readers whole help by voting ,commenting or even sharing the story to a larger audience.
