Ch -27

"Wasnt that fun! " Rose squealed hopping off the bike in a swift move.

I tried the same thing and landed on the floor with a loud thud.

"Nice landing! " Rodrigo snickered along with Rose.

I glared at them helping myself up, dusting the dirt from my backside.

" Thanks for the help guys.. Really appreciated it" i glared.

And noticed that Madric had already walked away. How gentlemanly of him.... really!

" You're welcome anyways i already handed Madric the tickets so lets go bungi jumping! " She shouted lifting her fist in the air excitedly.

" Dont wet your panties in fear ok Ladies! " Rodrigo teased and walked towards were Madric headed to.

" In your dreams! " Rose countered back irritatedly.

I stood quietly looking around unsure if i could handle this.

My heart amswered in a heartbeat.

Not yet you cant..

But my mind faught back.

One day you have to face it so why not today?

"Amanda.. Amanda" Rose shook my upper arms snapping me out of my revenue.

" ya.."

" girl you just zoned out at me.. Freaked me out for a sec.. Lets go hurry up " she said turning around dragging me with her.

I nodded and matched her pace.

I let the mind win this time.

We walked the zig-zag stairs which seemed too many to be possible to climb.

But after climbing 1/4 of the stairs i saw an elivator acrossed us.

How stupid of me obviously there will be a lift!

" yes finally a lift.. I thought i was going to die even before i reached the top! " Rose whined holding onto Madric's lower arm for support.

And Rodrigo did the same with me!

" Oh come on dont be such weaklings" i commented looking dowm at Rodrigo's and Rose's hunch back posture.

"It was your idea to begin with so you'll just have to deal with it"Madric stated.

How the hell was he looking this fresh and energetic.. even i was a little out of breathe... Just a little thanks to the multiple part time job i had to run to.

We were at the top now,helped by the bungi jumping crew to wear our harness. I was the last one left and then the jumping would start.

" All done miss! " the helper said smiling at me.

Palms sweaty,legs shaky.. I walk towards the edge to know exactly how high the drop was going to be into the deep waters.....

I wasnt ready..

The world became dark and blurry, i started tilting away from the edge unable to control my balanced and fell into somebody's arms after that the world went blank!

15 mins later...

I could feel the thumping of someone's heart as if it were really close to my ear.

I opened my eyes slowly and found a white cloth material hanging really close to my face.

A male shirt!

Slowly i looked up without moving my head and there he was.. By he i meant Madric trying to do kiss my forehead with his eyes closed.

I stiffened... Suddenly feeling really hot and suffociated.

This cant be happening right.. Surely i'm dreaming.... i just needed to pinch myself to snap out of it.

So with my left hand which was under some kind of sheet i pinched my upper thighs... hard.

A Squeal of pain almost came out of my mouth but i pushed it back biting my inner cheeks.

This was real.. Madric was going to kiss my forehead.

I closed my eyes tight acting asleep... No way was i letting him know i was awake.

My heartbeat was beating like a speeding train and so was his... I could hear it clearly.

Finally i felt his unexpectedly warm lips on my forehead and umconciously my toes entwined together.

"You will be the death of me ! " he whispered almost in an inaudible voice.

What was that suppose to mean.

He moved away...a little!

Now........ I could feel his freaking face near mine look down at my sleeping self.

Please just kill me... Somebody!

Heavy breathing was fanning my cheeks,i could literally feel his lips which in seconds will be on mine if i didnt did something.
I didn't want him to take away my first kiss.... At least not like this.

And as if my prayers had been heard.. Someone opened the door and the heavy breathing above me moved away in lighting speed.

Thank god!

" Is she awake yet" a man asked which sounded like Rodrigo. Recollecting of bungi incident came rushing in.

" not yet! " Madric replied dully.

" You know what i'll stay with her.. you two go and emjoy the programs you planned! " he suggested. Noooo...my inner voice screamed.

" No way this is all my fault.. I shouldnt have forced her like that when she didnt wanted to " she replied softly as if about to cry. My heart swelled for her.

" Thats.. not true.... i had loads of fun today " i replied hoarsely opening my eyes slowly.

" You're awake.. I'm so sorry! " She cried out running towards me for a hug.

" Done worry i'm fine.. " i tapped her back sothingly.

" And Madric is right.. Go enjoy the activities you planning for today with Rodrigo ..no buts! " i warned.

" Are you sure? " She questioned looking down at me.

I nodded.

" Ow-wk then.. Madric here are the keys for the guesthouse we use to spend out summer holidays at.. Get some rest there we will reach there by night" She answered.

"Is it really necessary to spend the night there? " Madric questioned.

" Obviously! " she answered and waved at us saying her goodbyes and walked away.
