" I'll go and pay the hospital bill! " Madric announced and walked out of the hospital room i was getting my final stiches at.

I on the other hand was squeezing the life out of Rose's palm, trying to bare the pain for a little longer.

When she asked for explainations i told her the easiest excuse i could come up with.

I fell.

And while trying to catch me Rodrigo got hurt. Luckily she bought the lie.

Besides Rose and the Doctor who was stiching me up i was totally ignoring Madric and Rodrigo's presence in the room at the moment.

Especially Madric!

I was still pissed with them but the ratio was 70/30 and i guess we all know who got the 70%!

Though it was confusing why i was more irritated with Madric, because it was Rodrigo who belittled me with his false accusations.

Then why was i more mad at him. . WHY?

I glanced at Madric's retrieving figure.. It was regid and cold, no signs of regret and then there was Rodrigo, leaning against a wall near the door with a band -aid nose and a bruised cheek.

Regret plastered on his face.

" All done! " the doctor declaired putting a huge band-aid like thing on top of the stiches.

" You know young lady.. You're very lucky coz if the hit would have been a little more to the left you would end up breaking your shoulder socket completely.. Anyways dont strain on it too much for awhile will ya! " he smiled and after collecting his surgerical box walked away.

" Man that must have hurt like shit! " Rose made a face.

" Yes it does! " i said pulling my shirt in its original place.

" hey.. wait a sec i need to use the restroom... Ok! " she answered rushing out leaving me and Rodrigo alone in the room.

I sensed a movement coming towards me.

Rodrigo!

He kneed down near me and looked up.

" Amanda... I'm really sorry for what i said earlier! I didnt meant it! It was just a spur of the moment anger that happened there.. Please forgive me i didnt mean to hurt you like i did today... It was just that when i saw you in that nightdress yesterday that too with him i got irritated and i think i know why now! " he relayed in the kind, loving tone.

He grabbed my hand, stroking it which made me uncomfortable..

" I think i'm in love with you... NO i'm sure i'm in love with you Amanda and thats why it hurts my heart when i imagine you with some other man's arm especially him! " he concluded slowly stand up from his kneel down position, never ones breaking his eye contact from me.

Now he was coming towards my lips with an undefineable expression.

My heart stopped and i wanted to run away but my body wouldnt listen.

It wasnt him i wanted to lose my first kiss with.. I thought.

"Hey Madric why are you standing near the door! " i heard Rose's voice on the other side of the door.

And hearing the word Madric, as if it boosted up my strength in some way made me move away from Rodrigo before his lips touched mine.

My eyes instantiously move towards the door not caring for the fact that i might have hurt Rodrigo's feelings in the process.
