23. Two Propositions

"Wait. So why are you all of a sudden okay with me? I don't get it." I tell Jack as my arm is still around him. He didn't even flinch or cause a fit earlier.

He rolls his eyes, yet nudges closer. "Because, if I give you what you want, you'll have it. Then grow tired. How I see it, I put up with you now. Then you'll drop me. Nobody gets hurt."

I kind of get irritated at his response because, hey, I don't fuck and chuck. Well maybe but I mean, I can catch feelings and keep him around much longer than he thinks.

I take my arm off of him. "What the hell happened to that one guy?"

"Oh. He's away for science camp for the meantime. But will be back like next week." Jack tells me. "Wait so you're cheating on him?"

He laughs and adjusts his seat feeling comfy and leaning closer to me. "No. I don't love you. I am not even dating, nor talking to you. We are not a fling. Just friends."

"But you said you would give me what you wanted?" I sigh. "Well... I mean... You can have my friendship and then realize you don't need it. That's what you'll get."

This is the first guy that's ever been hard to get, and I like it.

11:32 pm

"You still mad at me?" I ask Taylor because I know it did make him angry when I told him off about the celibacy boys. "Just a little. You hurt me by saying that about them."

"I'm sorry. Dude. But don't you think it's kind of true? They, their rules okay? Remember them. All they like to do is tease. But you know you can't ever get into their pants. Funny." I tell Taylor with a nudge.

"I mean, that's true. Last night Shawn gave me head but he didn't let me release." Taylor says softy and I laugh.

I head over to Carters room and knock before entering. "Did Cameron ever come back? And where are the others?" I ask and see Carter with the light of the lamp post outside. I also see that he's snuggling with Matt.

"Shawn and Nash are in the living room. Johnson left, if that's who your looking for." Carter tells me and that's profoundly correct.

"Well g2g! I guess I'll be napping with Taylor until I get the chance to see Jack tomorrow somewhere." When I head to the room Taylor gets back seconds after me. "Had to say goodnight to Shawn. And Jack was in there."

"No? Jack left. It's only Shawn and Nash..." I correct him but he shakes his head. "I just came from there. It's JJ and my Mendes."

I get and idea and grab Taylor's hand walking him downstairs. "Wake up boys. I have a proposition. We can either have Taylor and I share the guest room, or... He can get his boyfriend in there." I smirk.

"Hey that's me!" Shawn claps and stands up tugging on my arm. "I want to sleep with Tay!"

"Hush, Carter is still upstairs awake but Matt is sleeping. Now,  that's only if Jackie here agrees." I tell the three with a sly look.

Shawn pouts and begs Jack, "Johnie please! Share downstairs with Gil so I can have Taylor rock me to sleep!"

"Shawn! You're not a virgin anymore?!" Johnson grows angry and swats Shawn's head. "When I said rock me, I mean literally. He cradles me."

"I don't care! Go on, but if I'm sleeping down here. We sleep on two separate couches!" Jack says. I smirk and wave to grown up Shaylor.

Shawn races upstairs with Taylor dangling behind him, tripping over steps. "Is it disrespectful if I make you cum at your best friends house?"

"Not quiet enough Shawn. I heard you!" Johnson yells and grabs blankets from the ground and throws them over to his chosen couch.

I sit where he previously threw them, "Don't mind if I do."

"Okay. You've got to stop. I don't want you. Haven't you ever heard of consent? If I'm telling you know, please, back, the, fuck, away. Please and thank you."

"Damn it alright! But hey... What if I make another proposition. It's pretty cool. I've got to say, at least." I tell him and he pulls the blanket from under me. "What?!"

"I'll stay out of your way as long as you play this game with me. For the two weeks that your boyfriend isn't here." Johnson nods, irritatingly.

I scoot closer to him, "We should see who falls first. Come on. Who gets to know who the most. And the looser, pays for our date in the end of the two weeks."

"But, that's basically us on the fling stage of relationships. I don't want that!" Jack slaps my face and cuddles into his blanket.

"No. We're just friends trying to get to know each other. Ever seen YouTube challenges. If I know more facts about you, then you're paying for our little friend outing." I go more into detail with the compromise.

"And if you loose, you've got to leave me the hell alone. And I promise, I'll know more about you than yourself." Jack chuckles.

"Deal, baby." I smirk.

I get off the couch and turn off the lights, sleeping on the same couch as he does. "Night, night."

"No touching." Jack whispers with an exaggerated sigh, but he doesn't push me away, only scoots closer to me.

And see, that's how we will get to spend more time with each other, and sooner than so, he will be on the tip of my tongue.

(Guys I literally mean that as a rhetoric device and not physically or literally. Pls, no weird thoughts here.)
