Meeting Esther

"S-so big" Emma said as she gazed up at my mansion like house.

"What till you see the inside sweetheart!"

I got out the car and went towards her side, opened her door and helped her get out. Emma climbed out and clutched my hand tightly while we walked towards the huge door

Once I had entered the code in the door we entered the house and Emma gasped at what she saw in the lobby.

"Woah, d-daddy house b-big yeah?"

"That's right babygirl daddy's house is very big!"

We entered the elevator that would take us to the first floor I pressed the button; however Emma suddenly squeezed my hand really tight. I looked at her and she was rubbing her ear with tears brimming her eyes. Panic and concern suddenly washing through me.

"B-baby whats wrong?" I asked my voice laced with nothing but concern for my babygirl. I stroked her cheek

"I-I scwared of e-elevato-rs daddy" she spoke in a whisper rubbing her ear with one hand.

"You're okay babygirl, you're okay i'm here, I'll protect you" I spoke wiping her tears with my thumb.

Emma put her head on my chest and wrapped her arms around me; I however picked her up and placed her on my hip. She immediately put her head in the crook of my neck.

The lift came to a halt indicating that it stopped, the doors opened with me walking out and up to the first floor. As soon as I climbed up the steps and opened the door to the smaller living room, I heard a bark followed by Esther running up to us and sniffing Emma and me. She tackled Emma to the ground in which she whimpered.

"d-daddy, Emma no like daddy" she trembled with her bottom lip wobbling, shes so cute! I thought.

"oh, baby pumpkin, its okay look she wont hurt you she's here to play with you. Go on touch her, its okay I promise she wont hurt you.

"o-okay daddy"

She timidly put her hand out and touched Esther's head, which made Esther bark and lick her hand.

"s-so soft and f-fluffy d-daddy"

"that's right princess, Esther is soft and fluffy, see told you she wouldn't hurt you she's here to be your friend when daddy goes to work so princess Em Em wont be lonely"

Emma giggled and clapped her hands before jumping in my arms and cuddling me.

"what do you want to do now baby? shall I take you on tour of the big house or what?"

"E-Emma want to stay with you daddy"

"okay baby dolphin, lets sit on this fluffy white couch and watch tv, what do you want to watch kitten?"

"l-little einswens daddy" she spoke with a stutter not being able to pronounce the word 'Einstein'

"Okay darling lets watch little Einstein's"

I walked with her to the couch and sat down flicking through the channels to try and find Little Einstein's, once id found it I pressed play and told Emma I was going to make some popcorn

5 minutes later I entered the living room with the popcorn to see Emma laughing her head off while Esther licks her face. I smiled and laughed whilst watching them.

"baby here's the popcorn"

"yay poppy corn, poppy corn!!! Daddyyy!!"

"Haha yeah baby popcorn"

For the rest of the day I sat there with Emma and Esther and watched cartoons, laughing and having a really good time playing with them.

Esther loved the thought of having a new playmate and had grown a huge liking to Emma already in just the space of half an hour. I sighed happily and tickled Esther's belly whilst I watched my cute, precious princess watch cartoons and laugh at the funny parts.
