Today is not my day. I failed my quiz, being yelled by the teacher because I forgot to bring my notebook, and got blamed by my friends cause I did a bad job presenting our project. This is just... I need to calm myself down! Instead of heading straight home after school, I decided to ask my best friend, Jacey, if she could hang out a little with me after school.

"Hey Ale! How's your day?" Jacey asked when we met. Although we're best friends, we go to different classes. That's fate, I believe.

"What's up??? You're a bit down today." She tilt her head and asked.

"Not so good," I replied, then I asked het if she could spend some time with me before going home.

"Sure! There's no problem about it." She gave me a smile, "by the way, I also got a place to show you."

"Where?" I was curious.

"You'll see." She smiled mysteriously.

We looked at each other, a forest stands in front of us.

"What is this place?" I never noticed that there ia a forest near our block.

"Stop asking let's go!" She patted me and pushed me to enter. I didn't think that much, curiosity has taken over my mind.

We walked deeper and deeper, chatting about our day. And of course my unfortune causes.

"

I wish I could be like the

assassins in Assassin's Creed. I'll kill the teachers as if they were templars." I joked. Jacey laughed.

"Yeah me too." We giggled. We both love this game.

Then Jacey suddenly challenged me a race.

"Sure. But why?" She always come up with strange thoughts.

"Just an idea. I'm getting a little bored."

"Yeah. But where will the finish line be?"

"See that huge log over there? She pointed, "That's it."

We started to run when she finished the last word. I know I'm always faster then Jacey. I can win this challenge. As I ran with full speed, I tripped. It was a twig. I cursed as I faceplanted in a pile of leaves.

It hurts. I never knew that it feels so painful. As I strangled to get up, I can't find Jacey. I called her name. No one responded. Then I discovered something strange. An 18 century dress replaced my casual T-shirt and jeans and my hair is perfectly braided.

I panicked. How and why did my clothes changed? I looked around to search for help. There's no one. But there seem to be a town nearby. I could see some houses not far away.

That's pretty nice, I thought. However,I feel something strange.

Someone seems to be staying behind. By the time I turned back, a black shadow flashed by and covered my mouth. It's a human's hand, with a knife pointing at my throat.

"I'll slice your throat if you dare to scream." He hissed.
