I walked down the street, the cars rushing fast,the wind stirring, people walking by with no smiles but a serious expression.Sighing, I sat down at a park bench beneath a shady oak tree and leaned back and closing my eyes and started humming which then turned into a full blown singing session.

I rushed by the people trying to get to work on time. " shit..shit..shit..!" As I rushed to the park I stopped and looked at the man I missed the most the man who broke me heart."Mark?" I inched closer.He looked like he was sleeping,but he was singing Happy together by the Turtles. His voice ached my heart and seeing him made me remember exactly why we fought.

Flashback

" YOUR JUST A WORTHLESS BITCH!"

Mark swayed back and forth to my direction as of he was drunk.He then reached an arm out and struck me so hard in the face I fell to the floor holding my cheek, my nose bleeding.

"NOW GET OUT!"
I got up and ran out the door and straight to my friends house, tears staining my face. I never wanna see him ever again...

I sighed and rushed on past him with my head down and my thoughts trying to focus on getting on time,but my heart knew what I truly wanted and I wanted him. I still love him.I ways will...because love is a dangerous infection and once it consumes you...you can never find the correct cure...
