I wake up feeling as if I was just hit by a bus. I try to move out of my sitting position but I feel thick rope holding me down. When I open my blurry and heavy eye lids I look down at my body, ropes criss cross over my chest, tying me to a chair while my wrists and ankles are tied also. I struggle looking around, my heart rate now excelling normal.
All I see is junk around me, it seems we're in an old abandon building. Buckets of plaster, plastic sheets and paint tools are spread around. I scan the area, the room I'm in is rather small, over to the far left there's a door leading out or into another room. All the widows, which I count to be three are smashed out, allowing the cool wet air of the night to whistle in around me. The glass on the floor reflects the dim moon light. By the look of the ground outside I discover I'm still on the bottom floor, but I have no idea where I really am. I look up to see the ceiling has many water stains and the only light source is two hanging light bulbs.
I struggle more, trying desperately to get out, tears now welling up in my eyes from fear. The more I struggle the more the ropes burn my skin. I give up, looking around for something I could grab to set me free. There's plenty of glass but there's no way I could pick it up with my arms and body tied back. I try scooting over to it but I almost tip over, and falling on glass wouldn't help my situation.
I sit there, listening to anything that would alarm me but it's practically silent. Why am I here? What's Theo planning on doing? Were the men that took me the same men I saw walking out of my house? The one with the scorpion tattoo and the other with the gold tooth.
I jump when I hear the door open, my back is turned to it but even if I wanted to turn and see I couldn't; my whole body is frozen, petrified.
"Honey I'm home" I hear Theo say sarcastically and I instantly start shaking with fear as he comes around into my view
He stands in front of me but I keep my head down, my eyes on his leather work shoes "nothing to say?" He asks just as two other men walk in "does guilt have your tongue tied in a knot?" He growls
I look up slowly, making sure my head stays low. I see the two men, the man with the scorpion neck tattoo, who looks the same as last time I saw him, the same grimy smirk on his face and dark intimidating eyes. He stands next to a different, much taller man, his skin is dark with a natural tan, although most of it's covered with large and provocative tattoos. He even has two on his face, I think one's a spider on his jaw and the other a gun on his cheek. His black hair is long wiry curls, resting on his neck and a cigarette bud hangs from his thin lips. He stares at me with blue eyes and his dark goatee looks corse as he rubs it.
"Did you think I wouldn't find out?" Theo growls, bending down to me, placing his hands on the arm rests, I pull back holding in my tears "Where's your phone honey? Want to call anybody? That cop maybe? Or Vincent perhaps? I know you have that phone and I know you were talking to that cop you dirty bitch" he snaps and I gasp
"No! no, I swear I wasn't" I cry "I only today say him in the store! I swear I didn't tell him anything" I plea, begging him to forgive me
"But you did tell Vincent? Did you not?" He growls, his spit landing on my face, I stay quiet as my sobs slowly break through my tight throat "I know everything" he sneers
"You thought he could buy your father out of my company? Aren't you a clever girl but no I'm one step ahead, I'm always one step ahead!" He barks and I bow back, my whole body shaking uncontrollably
