Ring-ring-ring-ring-ring "can someone go and get the damn phone" I yelled out through the house, I was in kitchen cooking some snacks before we go to classes but the phone decided to ring at the perfect time and I couldn't go and get it so I yelled at them for someone to answer it and it worked

"I got it" Layton called running into the living room where the phone was last and moments later he comes into kitchen crying and the phone in his hand, I turned everything off and walked over to Layton grabbing the phone and putting it onto the bench before making him sit down on one on the stools as I stood in front of him with my hands on his shoulders making him face me

"Layton who was that on the phone and what did they say" I asked him, he calmed down enough and started to explain but was slightly out of breath from crying

"That was the hospital on the phone and they said that they admitted four people who had both me and Scottie on the call list, I told them that Scottie was living with me so they told me all that's happened, they said that both our parents and Scottie's were admitted into the hospital an hour ago from having been in a car accident, Debra died from impacted at the scene, Ben is currently on life support from being put into a comma, mum is still in surgery and dad is fine but shards of glass got into his eyes blinding him until he passes... they want us down there as soon as we can" he explained

"Is Ben going to be alright" I asked in a small voice

"Is that all you care about, if Ben's going to be alright, what about our mum who's still in surgery or dad who's blind because of this, do either one of them mean anything to you" he aske- well more liked yelled at me

"I don't me-" he cut me off and goes for it again

"mum is in surgery and she might not even make it out alive, dad is going to be blind until he dies and about you want to know about is if Ben's going to be alright, you're a cold-heartless b***h who always thinks of herself" he spat at me, by the time he was finished I was crying, plus everyone started coming downstairs and were now watching us

"Did you ever think that when I grew up, Ben was a second father, his family were always there for me when I needed it? on my birthday every year, they would take me out and we would go to a park to play, I grew so close to them, Debra's dead but if Ben died any moment now, a part of me will as well because he's not only a father figure but to me, Scottie, Parker and even Dawn, he was out best friend! I care about if mum's going to make it out alive from the surgery and how dad's going to cope with being blind for the rest of his life but Ben and Debra were the first real family I had when I was found at the car crash scene when I was 6, he was the first person that I talked to other then Scottie when they got to the station, I wouldn't talk to anyone else, Debra would treat me as a daughter she's always wanted before Dawn came and I was so happy that I had a family that cared and Ben would treat like a daughter but also a best friend, so don't you dare say that I'm a cold-heartless b***h who doesn't care about my parents because I do even if I don't show it!" I finished, he sat there speechless and just staring at me but I didn't stick around as I grabbed the phone and went into the living, I dialled the number back and waited for a nurse to pick up

"St. Asriel's how may I help you" the man asked

"I was wondering which hospital this is as I have family that were admitted a little over an hour ago" I stated

"Well your family is currently at St. Asriel hospital as I said and I can assure you that your family is in good hands, but I do advise you to come as quickly as possible to see them" he said

"Alright thank you" I said then he hang up, I went to my bedroom and got dressed since I was wearing loose pants and a loose top instead I got dressed in a pair of dark blue jeans and a loose long sleeve dragon shirt with, a pair of red and white runners as well as a short black leather jacket. As soon as I was dressed I ran back down to the lounge room but instead went straight ahead for the front door

"Winter, where are you going" Cruz said as he and Travis caught up with me

"I'm going to the hospital, I'm gonna see how mum, dad and Ben are doing" I told them, they nodded and added:

"We'll call if anything happens here, alright" Travis said, I nodded and walked out the door and went into the car, me and Wayde have already turned 16 about 1-2 weeks ago so I can drive a car and be the only one in there. I got into one of the seven seaters, reversed all the way down the driveway then drove to the hospital.
