The next 4 period plus lunch in between was fun, just spending time with Scottie is good but he did end up telling me more of his pick-up lines which were really funny, by the time we got home it was 15 minutes to 3:30 when Parker will come home from school but we found mum (who probley only got out of work an hour or two ago around the time dad has to check in with the agency for a few cases and stuff) and Dawn, she only needs to go to pre-school 3 days a week so Wednesday, Thursday and Friday she goes but Monday and Tuesday she stays home. Mum was cooking dinner while Dawn was sitting on one of the kitchen stools colouring "hey children how was school" mum asked asking Dawn to set the table to which she happily agreed to

"Fine, I made some new friends along with Scottie's hockey team" I said then Scottie added "and we're in 4 classes together" mum nodded

"Who are your new friends" she asked turning to me

"Evie and Travis" I said then turned to Scottie remembering something "we have match making to do" I told him, being that we've basically grown up together he nods and started making his way upstairs to his room, I follow silently behind him and sit down on the beanbags that he also has in his room and face him while he waits for an explanation "Travis like Cruz and I think it would be good for them two to get together as well as Evie and Brody, the way they look at each other is way more than friendly to me" I explained, he nodded understanding

"We can work on them, what were you talking about with Evie this morning that you said you'll have to ask me to tell the team" he asked

"She asked if we could all go trick or treating and make a pack that we all dress up as a superhero" I answered

"That'll be easy, Halloween is in 2 weeks, so we can tell them at the next game, now" he said, here it comes "why did dad teach you self-defence moves after you turned 12" he asked, and there it is

"You know how I been moved to nearly every foster care, yes" I asked, he nodded telling me to continue "well when I had just turned 11, they didn't have any open in the area so they put me into an orphanage, I wasn't the oldest there but I was a fighter and Mark, one of the owners didn't like that so he brought in all of his and the other owners children and from the way all of the other children started moving away, I knew something had happened and it had because they started to do it to me for protecting the children, the next time dad came to check on me, I took him on a walked away from the orphanage and told him what happened, the children, there was only four of them, were stabbing, hitting, kicking and cutting the children till they were bleeding but none of the owners cared so as soon as dad told the agency, I was sent to another foster home and yea" I said, to say he was shocked is wrong, he looked more angry and frustrated then shocked and sad

"And where are they now" he asked trying to act calm

"Nobody knows, when the police showed up they got all of the owners but not the kids, I think they caught one but he escaped somehow" I said shrugging, he was silent for a minute then he immediately stood and up fuming then started pacing in front of me

"How are you calm about this" he asked turning to look at me

"Simple, when I left dad taught me self-defence moves and that boasted my confidence a lot so if I see them and they try to hurt me I'll Kung-Fu their ass's" I said which made a ghost of a smile appear on his face but then it disappeared, I stood up and walked two feet in front of me where he stood unmoving but silently watching me, I grabbed his hand and lead him back to his seat and got him to sit down again then I sat down on his lap, one leg on each side of him resting my hands on his shoulders but then I moved then to cup his neck and make him look at me but he still seemed unfocused "Scottie" I called, he blinked and turned to me looking at me at me strangely

"Yes" he answered

"Can you smile" I asked rubbing the back of his neck, he frowned

"Why" he asked

"Because you look horrible without one" I said, he shook his head smiling at me with my way of words but I just moved forward placing my head against his shoulder as he moved his hands to hold my hips

"Snow, I have to tell you something" he murmured but I still heard it

"What" I asked, he took a deep breath but didn't continue straight away

"I-I love you, snow, I've loved you ever since I first saw you the day you showed up at the agency" he said, he didn't see me but I smiled then it grow as I leaned back to meet his eyes

"I've loved you ever since you first said hello" I said causing him to laugh at me

"That too" he whispered before looking down at my lips, he started leaning in as well as me but it just had to be ruined

"DINNER" mum called from downstairs, we both groaned but got up and headed down to the dining room where everyone else sat waiting for us.

---------------------------------------------

When dinner had finished Scottie and I headed up to his room again (not to finished what we started before hand) but to talk about how the hell we're going to get Brody and Evie together as well as Travis and Cruz but we managed to work something out, I walked downstairs with Scottie beside me

"Kids just a reminder that this Friday, Saturday and Sunday we're not going to be here due to your mum having to do something in another town that will take three days as well as the agency wanting to see me and fill me in on some new cases now that we have Winter staying here but also because someone hired me as their lawyer when they have a court appearance on Saturday" dad said, at least they tell us what's happening

"Is it alright if me and snow have a few friends over" Scottie asked dad, dad nodded

"As long as there's no parties, no drugs and no sex" dad said pointing a finger at the both of us "and you also have to keep an eye on both Parker and Dawn and make sure they both eat their food" he added, both Scottie and I nodded keeping in our laughter as he said all of that with a straight face, once he was gone we both started laughing again while he headed back upstairs to his room getting our phones out, I called Evie's number that she gave me when we had class together period one and waited for 3 rings until she answered

"Hey Winter, what's up" she answered

"Scottie's parents are going to another town for the weekend so I was wondering of you and Travis wanted to spend the weekend here with us" I asked, she squealed

"I know that Travis will say yes so we'll be there" she said before we both said goodbye and hung up, just as Scottie ended his phone call

"Well" he asked

"Evie and Travis are coming" I said

"So are Brody and Cruz" he said, then we both smiled "about what I said before, I meant it all" he said after a few minutes of silence, I nodded

"So did I" I agreed, the next thing I know if I'm feeling a pair of warm lips on mine with a hand cupping the back of my neck, I placed my arms up and around his neck pulling him closer while he lowered his hands and wrapped them around my waist. It was like he was never going to see me or he was giving me my last kiss before I die but it felt so good, sure this wasn't my first kiss because he took it when we were younger but back this he didn't even know what a kiss was. He thought he saw mum and dad shucking each-others face off when they were actually kissing each other. His grip around my waist tightened so I tightened my grip around his neck pulling him closer but he didn't want it that way instead he removed his hands from my waist and placed them on my thighs pulling me up so I wrapped my legs around his waist as he held me there placing his hand on my bottom but all he did was smirk into our kiss. Eventually the kiss had to end so we could catch our breath and that's exactly what we did, he placed my feet back on the floor but moved his hands so they were around my waist again so I couldn't step back but at this point in time I REALLY didn't want to because I like this position and I didn't want it to end.
