"What the hell are you doing here?" Alya hissed with her hands on her hips and made a bitchy face.

"I...eh...came here to study," I whispered weakly.

She rolled her eyes and looked at her boyfriend. "Manik, do something!"

I peeked through my eyelashes at them. He pecked Alya's lips and gave her a loving smile.

"Manik!" she whined.

"Baby, you go ahead to the next class. I will join you after dealing with...that thing," he pointed with his head to me with a look of disgust.

I quickly looked down at my feet and heard her walk away. I heard the library door shut seconds later. I was about to run towards the door as well, but he grasped my arm just in time.

"Where the hell do you think you are going?" he hissed through his clenched jaw.

I tried to wriggle my arm free from his grasp, but he slammed me against the bookshelf behind me. He stepped forward and placed his hand on either side of the shelves, capturing me in between his arms as I stared at him in shock.

"Try that again and you will feel sorry!" he spat.

"I-I didn't do it on purpose! I swear! I thought no one would be here. I wouldn't have come here if I knew...I didn't mean to disturb you. I promise. I just..."

"Shut the hell up!" he yelled, stopping my rambling. "You talk too fücking much!"

I bit my lip to keep my mouth and put a hand on my fast-racing heart.

"Which punishment shall I give you for interrupting a heated moment?" he asked while rubbing his stubble beard.

"Please, let me go. I have a class to attend," I pleaded.

"I told you to shut up! Don't talk and irritate me further. You will only talk when I give you permission!" he yelled with a raised voice and it made me flinch in fear. "Do you fücking understand?"

I nodded faintly and clutched onto my handbag to keep myself from crying.

"Look at me!"

I was too scared to look at him. I knew I would break out in tears if I did. I hated him for being such an awful person.

"I told you to look at me!" his voice boomed as he gripped my jaw and forced me to look at his face which was towering over mine.

My scared eyes looked into his angry brown orbs. He held me in his gaze and I was afraid to look away. The sudden sound of his phone, made us break eye contact.

"Yes?" he growled into the phone.

I took that opportunity to run out of the library as fast as I could.

...

"Are you Nandini?" a student who had never spoken to me before asked when I was heading to my last class.

"Yes?"

"The principal asked for you."

"What? Why?"

The guy shrugged. "I was ordered to find you and send you to the principal's office."

"Okay thanks," I said, feeling confused as to why the principal would want to see me. I hoped it had nothing to do with me being kicked out of class earlier today.

I knocked on the principal's office door, but there was no reply. I entered the room anyway only to find the principal's desk empty. I scanned the room quickly and gasped when I heard the door shut behind me. I turned around and stumbled back in shock.

"You thought you could outsmart me?" he growled as he stepped towards me slowly with fire blazing in his eyes.

I gulped and stepped back.

"Poor little Nandini has no way of escaping now," he scoffed as he was closing in on me.

I took a huge step back and hit the principal's desk behind me. Manik knew he had me caged and grabbed my shoulders to make sure I couldn't escape.

"Owww!" I whimpered in pain as he was grabbing too tightly onto my bruised shoulder.

He seemed somewhat surprised by my reaction, but then his cocky self returned almost immediately. "Stop being a drama queen."

"My right shoulder is bruised..."

"Let's see that bruised shoulder you have been lying about since yesterday," he scoffed. He pulled the right strap of my blouse down my shoulder, taking my bra strap with it.

My heart nearly stopped right then and there in complete shock. He stared at my big purple bruise as I stayed frozen in place. The anger in his eyes changed to what looked like confusion. When his cold fingers brushed over the burning bruise, I let out a breath I didn't know I had been holding. He shifted his gaze from my shoulder to my face. Our confused eyes met each other. I gathered the little courage I had left in me and pushed his hand off my shoulder. He stepped back immediately. I pulled the straps of my bra and blouse up before running out of the principal's office as quickly as my legs could take me.
