Roslice's Point of View

A few weeks later

Currently, Seth was holding me, while Bella and Edward were paying attention to Ness. Weeks had flown by since Bella had awaken from her transformation and already I can sense how this was going to go. Nessie seemed to become the favorite in a matter of minutes and a huge brat. Edward tried to get everyone who wasn't paying attention to me, to pay attention, but every time he came close, Ness would do something cool to catch his attention. We were growing rapidly and we were practically toddlers. We looked like we could pass for the age of two, but we were only a few weeks old.

Living in this house hasn't been the easiest, the two people who gave me life barely acknowledged my existence. I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but either way, it hurt. I looked up at Seth who's expression mirrored mine, anger, yet sadness. The only ones in the family who noticed me after momma woke up were Rose, Emmett, Alice, Seth , and Jasper. Carlisle, Esme, Jacob, Edward, and Bella, were too busy making sure that Ness was comfortable in everything that she did. Whether it was eating, taking a bath, or sleeping, it was all about Ness wanted.

Though, as these weeks flew by, I kinda learned to ignore it and even though I was young and I suppose to be unable to even have these kinds of thoughts, I understood everything around me. I understood that even though Edward and Bella were my parents, the only thing that connected us were genetics. There was no love there, no care. Jasper and Alice had kind of stepped up and taken on that role. They fed me, bathed me, tucked me in at night and played with me. They took an interest in me and to them I wasn't the other baby, I wasn't Ness' twin, I was just Roslice. Suddenly, I was brought out of my daze, when Jasper came over and took me from Seth.

Jasper's Point of View

"Daddy, can we go to the park?" Roslice asked, but upon seeing the discomfort in my expression, she slapped a hand over her mouth, realizing what had just came out of her mouth. And as expected, everyone in our family's eyes snapped over to us.

"Did she just call you, daddy?" Bella hissed, glaring in my direction.

I opened my mouth to try and diffuse the situation before it escalated, but Alice seemed to have another plan in mind, because she spoke up before any words could actually come out of my mouth.

"Yes, she did." Alice spoke solemnly.

Upon her response, Edward's eyes lit up in fury and he swiftly handed Ness off to Bella, as he stood to his feet angrily. "Well correct her, Jasper! She isn't your child, you aren't her father, I am."

"Alice, darling, please take Roslice." I said, causing her to perk up and take her from my arms without a word.

I adjusted my shirt and inhaled deeply, taking the time to gather my thoughts so that I could put this as politely as possible. "Edward, Bella, you pay absolutely no attention to her whatsoever. It's been 3 weeks since they've been born and I bet neither of you could tell me a single thing about her."

"She feels ignored." Seth added quickly.

Edward chuckled lowly, "Ignored? She is a child. She doesn't even know what that means! You cannot and you will not, play daddy to my child!"

"The only one playing daddy here is you, Edward. We actually take care of her, can you say the same?" Alice questioned, a smug smirk dancing upon her lips, as she walked back into the room carrying a giggling Roslice.

Angrily, Bella went to grab Roslice from her, but I sped in front to stop her actions.

"Do not touch my kid." I spat coldly, glaring at her. I watched as her face contorted into an unbelievable spout of anger.
