Chapter 20: Finally Revealed

Ness POV

I struggled in the grasp of my kidnapper, thrashing my arms and legs in every direction possible. "Please, let me go!" I begged, but of course they ignored me, and continued to drag me forcefully along. "I won't tell anyone a thing!"

I couldn't see their face, but I knew from the look of the cloak they were wearing, that they were from the Volturi. I was smart enough to know that anything Volturi related could only lead down a dark path, so I continued to struggle for a while, but I guess they got tired of me doing that because they threw me over their shoulder and continued walking. After while, we came to a field covered in the whitest snow I had ever seen. My kidnapper walked across the field to meet what seemed to me to be the whole Volturi guard. I began to struggle and cry, because I knew that wherever they were, Aro had to be there, too.

"Mom, Dad, Jake! Anybody, please!" I screamed, hitting the back of whoever was carrying me. I heard a low growl come from the other end of the field. I smiled weakly, for I knew it sad Jacob, my Jacob. Yet, as fast as the little hope I had came, is as fast as it was gone. As I felt my feet being placed on the ground, in front of nun other than Aro himself, I knew that my family wouldn't get to me in time.

Little did I know, they weren't here for me.

Jacob POV

"They have Reneesme." I snarled, bursting through the front door.

Everyone looked at me in horror. "What do you mean they have her?! You're suppose to protect her Jacob!!" Edward roared in my direction.

"It's not my fault! I did everything I could, but he was too good!" I shouted back.

"What?" Bella asked confusion laced in her words.

"He too was an experienced fighter." I replied, wiping the sweat off of my forehead.

"Who?" Carlisle asked from behind Edward.

"Did you know him?" One of the Danali people asked, stepping forward.

"You all know him.." I said, thinking they already knew who I was referring to.

Edward's face automatically scrunched up in anger, obviously he read my thoughts and figured it out before the rest of the group.

"Jasper.." He whispered.

Bella shook her head furiously. "No, not Jazz." She cried into Edward's arms.

"It was definitely him, Bella." I replied.

"Why would he-" She stopped mid sentence and gave Carlisle a worried look.

"Carlisle can I speak to you for a moment?" She asked him, He quickly nodded, and they ascended up the stairs and into his office.

I looked over at Edward, who's expression mirrored mine, confusion.

Bella POV

"Carlisle, you don't think that Esme told them anything do you?" I asked afraid of his response.

"I don't know Bella, but it would explain why Jasper would help them take Nessie." He replied, rubbing his chin.

"What are we going to do?" I asked him.

"I don't -" At that moment the office door flew open to reveal my angry looking husband.

"Do about what?" He asked harshly.

"Ness, of course." I replied quickly, as I expanded my shield, so that it covered Carlisle and myself.

"Don't lie to me Bella." He whispered, taking hold of my hand roughly.

"I'm not, just trust me please drop it." I begged.

He looked from me to Carlisle, then back to me and sighed. "Alright Bella." He said walking out of the room.

"We should probably start heading to the field." Carlisle suggested, I nodded, following him out of the room and down to the living area. Instantly, everyone stood still as they saw us walking down the stairs.

"Soo.." Jake said trailing off awkwardly.

"Let's go." I said quickly, speeding out of the front door in inhuman speed with everyone else following closely behind me.

Alice POV

As we stood there, on the field, I looked over at Ness who looked scared out of her wits, but at this moment, I had no remorse for her. I began to get a vision of the Cullen's stepping onto the field, with our cousins from Danali, and another unseen presence, which I could only guess to be wolves. I turned to Jasper, who nodded for me to inform Aro.

"Aro, they're here." I said. He quickly nodded, turning to face front, his grip never easing on Reneesme's tiny arm.

A couple seconds later, The Cullen's, our cousins and the wolves stepped onto to the field. It was time.. for Carlisle and Bella to come clean. I couldn't shake the uneasy feeling I had about all of this, it looked so familiar.. I had been here before, I was sure of it. They all stood there staring at us, well at Aro and the death grip he had on Ness. After a couple of minutes of staring each other down, Carlisle was the first to speak.

"Aro, we have done no wrong, please let her go.." Carlisle pleaded.

Aro scoffed as he tightened his grip on Reneesme's arm, "Oh really, then tell me my dear friend, why do you have witnesses with you?" He said, pointing to our cousins from Danali and the wolves.

Bella hissed, "They're just friends, now let my daughter go!"

And in that moment I knew why this scene before me looked so familiar, it was In a vision I had a couple days ago. They were going to kill Ness, if Carlisle didn't admit his wrong. I shook free of the grip Jasper had on my hand and stepped forward, I was determined to change the outcome of my vision.

"Carlisle just tell them." I said. He looked at me, and shook his head No.

"There's nothing to tell anyone, Alice." He stated firmly, folding his arms like a child.

I chuckled, "Leave it to you to be in such denial."

"Why don't we just ask Esme." Emmett suggested, as Rosalie smirked and nodded.

"No!" Bella roared, stepping away from Edward and coming forward hastily. "There's no need for any of that!"

"Well, someone better start talking." Caius urged angrily.

Bella and Carlisle exchanged glances and sighed, all the while, Edward and everyone else looked confused. I'm sure this was so awkward for them, not only were they trying to save Renesmee's life, but the solution to it all was a simple confession.

"Bella, what are they talking about?" He questioned looking to his wife eagerly.

"I don't know." She lied through her teeth.

"Bella.." I hissed warningly, I didn't want Renesmee to die.

She threw her hands in the air. "Alright! Fine you win, I'll tell him." She whined, "Edward, Roslice is not yours." 

As soon as those four words left her lips, everyone gasped and Edward's body shuttered, while Carlisle stayed silent. I shook my head, how pathetic to let Bella just carry all of the weight.

"What? H-how?" He asked, his voice cracking towards the end.

I was starting to feel awfully bad for him. There was no woman on this planet that Edward loved more than Bella and now he was finding out that she cheating on him.

"Go on Bella, tell him who is." Marcus said slyly.

"I can't do it." She whispered lowly, looking towards the ground.

"Do it, or Renesmee dies." Rosalie threatened.

Her eyes widened in horror and then she spoke. "Carlisle is.."
