Roslice Point of View

Justin Bieber blared through the speakers as Jane and I danced to the beat, along with Aunt Rose, Uncle Emmett, Mom, and Dad right behind us. Tonight was going a lot smoother than I expected, I mean minus our run-in with the Cullen Clan, tonight was pretty cool. I was surrounded by those who loved me dearly and would do anything to protect me.

Two songs, a good laugh and a dance-off later, I got tired and told Jane I was going to rest. The idea of resting still amazed me to this day. Even though I had human blood pulsing through my veins, I felt more vampiric than anything. Nonetheless, I exited the dance floor and approached our table, where instantly my eyes landed on the one person I did not want to see right now, Bella.

"What do you want?" I asked, rolling my eyes curtly, walking around her to pick up my cup of blood.

"Why are you being so stubborn, Rosie?" She asked softly, causing me to scoff. Her phoniness was shining right through, it was almost pathetic.

I took a swig from my cup, before placing it back down on the table and turning around to fully face her. "Alright, two things. One, don't call me that. Two, you shouldn't even be standing in front of me right now. If mom or dad even catch you near-"

"You do realize you're my daughter right?" She asked smugly, cutting my sentence off. In a blink of an eye, her whole loving mother persona was gone and I honestly didn't even have the time to entertain her shenanigans.

"No, I'm not, now if you'll excuse me," I said, while attempting to walk back around and towards the dance floor, keyword, attempt.

She took hold my arm roughly, causing me to snap my head in her direction quickly. "Bella, I'd advise that you let me go right now before I scream bloody murder."

A few seconds went by and I could see it in her eyes that she was having an internal struggle with herself. Her grip on my arm began to loosen, but just as I went to remove myself from her hold, she tightened it once more and yanked at my arm, breaking it. My face scrunched up in agonizing pain, as I swiftly took hold of my broken arm and let out an ear-piercing scream. Bella smirked slightly and pushed me toward the grown, causing me to groan loudly upon connecting with the marble floor.

Realizing that people were watching us and that my parents were making their way towards us, Bella began "apologizing". I cradled my injured arm, ignored her apologies and continued dry sobbing.

Not even a few seconds later, Mom, Dad, Jane, Rose, and Emmett were at my side, and that's when the confrontation started.

Rosalie's Point of View

Emmett and I danced with Alice and Jasper, for about 30 minutes. The whole time, I could feel the Cullen's watching us, which caused me to laugh internally. The fact that they even had the balls to show up tonight was what drove me crazy. I didn't want them here, but I knew it wasn't really up to me. The ball was for all vampires, so I guess I could put up with them for one night.

I shook off my thoughts and just as Emmett was about to kiss me, someone screamed. I jumped back and began to scan the room for Roslice's face when I couldn't spot her, my panic set in. I looked to Emmett, "I don't see Roslice."

Everyone around us froze and out of my peripheral I could see Alice and Jasper speed off in the direction of the scream to see who it came from, Emmett and I followed instantly. We ran to where the scream came from and when we got there, I was prepared to attack.

"Did you do this to her?!" Alice hissed furiously at Bella while picking up an injured Roslice.

"She's not yours!" Bella screamed while being held back by Edward, who had just gotten over to us. Alice growled in return.
