Aaryan came out of the surgery room and was brought into the recovery room. The anaesthesiologist came in after the nurse and checked on Aaryan. Lilly and Aman stood there waiting for news. "He should be okay Miss Singh, maybe a few side effects of nausea but he should be fine. I would recommend that he spends the night here." The anaesthesiologist said writing some things on the clipboard before heading it over to the nurse and then the doctor came in and told them that everything went perfectly with the surgery.

Lilly hugged Aman and walked over to Aaryan who began to wake up. "Mama?" he called out to Lilly. Lilly held his hand. "You're here." He replied with a smile.

"Of course I am here. I never left baby."

Aman walked out of the room to give them 2 some space. He sat down and thought all about all that happened that day. A few moments later, Lilly walked out. "He fell asleep." She sat down next to Aman.

"Great. He's a brave boy. You raised him fantastically."

Lilly blushed what seemed to be the hundredth time that day. "Hey Aamn Aaryan will have to stay here tonight. You might want to go home..."

"I told you I am not going anywhere beautiful." Aman held Lilly's hand. "Come on let's go back inside." The both of them stood up.

"Oh hey can you watch him for a while I have to call Anoshinie."

"Sure."

Lilly walked out of the room and pulled out her phone.

Lilly: Hey Nosh.

Anoshinie: Hey baba! Where are you?

Lilly: Sorry Nosh. Aaryan and an accident in school and had to get stitches.

Anoshinie: OMG. Are you okay? Is he okay?

Lilly: Everything is find. Aman is here with me.

Anoshinie: ooooooo ahhhh

Lilly: Shush Nanu. He's really sweet.

Anoshinie: I'll leave you to it.

Lilly: I love you.

Anoshinie: Love you too. Take care of lover boy and my little man.

Lilly: Hey he is my little man too.

Anoshinie: No comments about me calling him lover boy. Nice.

Lilly: Bye

Lilly walked back into the room with a huge smile on her face.

"Everything okay?" Aman asked.

"Ya. Anoshinie was stressed. That's all."

"She seems amazing."

"She is. If you meet her she will probably give you a serious talk."

"Oh?"

"Scared yet?" Lilly laughed and Aman looked at her.

"Nope. I am ready face any scary best friend to be with you."

"Awwww..." Lilly was flattered.

After talking for a bit more, Lilly fell asleep on Aman's shoulder. Aman woke up a few hours later to a whiny Aarayan and Lilly still on his shoulder. He smiled at her and pushed a few strands of hair out of her face. He adjusting her position and went to check on Aaryan.

"Hey buddy." He knelt next to the bed. "Feeling better?" Aaryan shook his head. "It still hurts huh?" Aaryan nodded and turned to face Aman.

"Aman? When can I go home?" Aaryan reached out to touch the bandage.
