Safe Haven

Family.

We were home. 

"Mum!" Lilly ran towards her mum once she got out of the uber. 

"Lilly!" Her mum pulled her into a tight hug.

Aaryan ran behind her and hugged his grandmother's leg. "Nani!"

"Hey Aaryan! Wow! You're so big now!" She tickled him and picked him up. Aman walked towards the house with all the luggage "And you must be Aman." She walked towards him with Aaryan in her hands.

"Hello aunty ji. My name is Amandeep. Nice to meet you." He greeted.

Lilly's p.o.v

The uber pulled up to the house. I literally ran out of the house. My mum came out of the house with her arms open.I hugged her tightly. God I missed this so much. 

After Aman introduced himself, mom turned around to look at me; wiggling her eyebrows slightly. She leaned over to Aman and gave him a tight hug. "It's nice to finally meet you in person."

"It's nice to finally meet you too. You have a lovely home."

Walking into the house I was greeted by the familiar smell of vegetarian chicken curry and rice. Ah, its great to be home. "Go wash up, we can eat together. Your dad is almost home." My mum explained as she walked in with Aman and Aaryan. I walked towards her as she put Aaryan down. "I'm glad you finally came home." She whispered as she pulled me into a hug. "I want to hear all about Aman later." Pulling away she winked.

"Daddy!" Aaryan called out as he ran towards Aman. "Isn't Nani's house so big!!!"

"Ya it is little man!" Aman replied as he picked Aaryan up spinning him around. 

"Dad?" my mum whispered into my ear. I nodded slightly and blushed.

"He's great mum." I replied quietly. 

"Awwww baby." She pulled me into another hug.

Everything was great. She seemed to really like Aman which was important to me. I mean after all, she didn't really like him.... Let's not talk about him okay.. forget it Lilly.....

"Come on Aman let me show you around." She announced walking towards Aman.

"Sure aunty ji." Aman replied. 

Punjabi sounded super cute in his sexy British accent damn.....

After dinner Aman, Aaryan and I were chilling in my room. The room I grew up in. 

There was a gentle knock on my door. "Hey, Lil. Can we talk to you for a while?" My dad said. Nodding I headed for the door and into my parent's room.

"What's up guys?" I asked sitting down on their bed.

(M: her mother, aunty ji. F: her dad, uncle ji and L: Lilly. Can?)

F: How have you been? Everything okay? 

L: I'm fine dad. You guys are scaring me.

My parents looked at each other and then back at me.

M: Are you sure about Aman Lil?

L: Mum, I told you mum, he is great and amazing. Seriously....

F: I know.... We just don't want you to be hurt again.

I sighed. I knew what she was talking about. Aman is nothing like him. They don't have to worry.... I hope... 

L: It's not the same mum. Aaryan is in the picture now. Even if anything happens between us, Aaryan is my number one priority. His happiness is important and he really likes Aman. So that's what matters to me... And I really like him..

I blushed and looked on the floor as my dad came over and pulled me into a tight hug. 

F: I love you Lilly.

L: I love you too dad.

M: Why don't we take care of Aaryan for awhile and you and Aman can go out?

L: I think we can do it another day mum... We are all really tired. I think we should call it a night and you can grandson-sit another day. 

M: Tina might be bringing the kids over tomorrow. 

L: That's great. I haven't seen Jora, Kabir and Ajit in ages! And Tina and Harpreet obviously! 

F: They haven't seen you in ages!!

M: Tina has been excited to meet Aman. It seems that Harpreet has been asking her a billion questions. It's funny.

L: I'll deal with Harpeet tomorrow.

F: Good night Lilly.

L: Good night dad.

M: Good night Lil

L: Good night mum.

M: I'm happy for you. Aman seems like an amazing guy.

L: He is.

Smiling I left the room and suddenly I felt like I should have taken up the offer of my parents taking care of Aaryan while Aman and I spent some time together.

I walked into my room to find Aman asleep with Aaryan in his arms.

Taking out my phone, I snapped a few pictures, I switched off the lights and then cuddled in with my two favourite boys. 

Today, was amazing. Let's see how tomorrow is..
