Safe Haven

Shower and Toronto.

Lilly's p.o.v

It's been little over a year since Aman came into my life and brought all these amazing things along with him. For the first time since we have been together, we are going to travel; back home. Toronto. Home. Aaryan has only been back there once when he was like 2. And my parents visited once when he turned 4. And now, he turns 6. That's fast. Really fast. He's growing up but he will always be my little baby.

Packing was a pain and I seriously hated it. But Aman and I were almost done packing. All we needed to do is take showers and then pack in the last minute things. In the morning, I sent Aaryan on a play date to one of his friend's for the day so Aman and I could pack.

I stood by the bed and looked at the two suitcases in front of me. "Hey beautiful," Aman came into our bedroom from the living room. "Shall we take a shower and pick the little man up?" He wrapped his hand around my waist and pulled me against him. I leaned back on his chest and sighed softly.

"You go take a shower first. I want to check on Aaryan's suitcase."

"Well, let's do that together and then maybe.." He trailed off. Pushing my hair to the side he kissed my neck. "maybe we can take a shower together.."

Oh.... I see.

I smirked and turned to face him. "Okay handsome. I see where this is going."

"Ya, I mean we only get to spend a few hours together... alone... so I want to make use of the time... Plus, showering together can save a lot of water!" And then he winked before pressing his lips against mine that sent a shiver down my spine.

"Fine. Fine." I replied. I closed the suitcases on our bed and the both of us walked into Aaryan's room hand in hand. Opening up his language and backpack I checked if we had packed certain things. "He's good to go babe."

"Great. I can't wait to meet your parents Lil."

"I'm sure they will like you." I smiled thinking about all the times he facetimed with mum or dad. Tina was fond of Aman which was good. "I mean you're Aamn. What's there not to like?"

"You're cute." He replied. "Now... how about that shower?" He asked.

"Aman..." I whispered as he kissed my neck pushing me onto the floor. "Not in Aaryan's room handsome." He nodded and picked me up from the floor bridal style and carried me into our bathroom. I wrapped my hands tightly around his neck.

"God, you're pretty."

When we reached the bathroom he put me down in front of the mirror. I turned to face him and then I jumped up onto the counter. Pulling him closer by his shirt, I whispered into his ear. "Let's get in the shower Aman." And then purred into his ear sending a shiver down his spine. His arms were filled with goosebumps. With Aman, I'm confident. More than I have been. And it was nice. The way he looks at me. It's like I'm his everything. I reached for the hem of my shirt and pulled it over my head and threw it on the floor. Closing my eyes, I pulled him closer and kissed him slowly.

He wrapped his hands around my bare waist and stood between my legs.... "Lilly..." He trailed off, planting kisses down my neck.

Third person's p.o.v

After the two had their showers they took their time to get ready in comfortable airplane clothes. There was 3 hours left till their boarding time. It was only 4 hours and 4 minutes to Toronto but the pair knew that with Aaryan, it was going to hard. They picked Aaryan up and went to the airport in the uber. He was ready to see his grandparents and cousins he wouldn't stop talking about how Aman is really going to enjoy hanging out with Harpreet. Lilly's heart melted as Aman patiently listened to Aaryan. She loved the way Aaryan looked at Aman, it was like Aman was his hero. The drive was smooth, checking in the bags was simple. Lilly and Aman decided against feeding Aaryan before the flight just in case he threw up but they made sure he ate earlier so he should be fine.

Aman reached over and held onto Lilly's hand as the three of them cleared customs and headed to Toronto.

The Toronto airport was crowded. Lilly felt her heart race as she squeezed Aman's hand tightly. Aman was carrying Aaryan. Lilly stood close to Aman as they made their way through the crowded Toronto airport. "You okay babe?" Aman asked Lilly bending forward slightly. Lilly nodded and held onto Aman's arm. Finally, they made it out of the airport and waited for their uber. She didn't want to trouble her parents to pick her up.

Aman sat next to Lilly with Aaryan sleeping on his chest. Aman was nervous about meeting her parents for the first time. Aman sighed softly next to Lilly. "Don't worry handsome, they will like you just fine." She reassured him squeezing his hand, she leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. Aman smiled next to her. This is going to be great.
