Aman remembers when he first started staying over at Lilly's apartment. Aaryan would always wake up in the morning and look at Aman suspiciously but then he usually dismisses it when he sees that Lilly is happy.

Aaryan will watch from the hallway, he will watch how Aman and Lilly just dance around the kitchen as they wait for breakfast to be cooked. Aaryan watches how Aman twirls Lilly around and then he also notices how Lilly giggles and is always smiling when he is around.

Aaryan also notices how Lilly would smile at her phone and take silly pictures. He knows it's for Aman because before this, nothing like that happened and Lilly barely used her phone before Aman. Aaryan liked it, Lilly was smiling at she wasn't crying at night anymore. The little boy was happy.

Lilly didn't get nightmares anymore and she slept through nights without trouble. Even when Aman doesn't stay over, Lilly sleeps through the night. She liked that he moved in. It was useful to have an extra pair of hands especially with Aaryan. Aman was great with him and that's what Lilly was afraid of in the beginning.

Aman remembers when Lilly told him that Aaryan suffers from night terrors. He felt bad for the kid but Lilly assured him that he would grow out of it. Aman believed her. The first time they talked about it was when they were on the phone one night when Aaryan came into Lilly's room crying. She told Aman she would call him back and hung up to attend to the little boy. She never called him back that night but Lilly texted him apologizing and explaining to Aman what happened with him the night before. Aman totally understood and instantly made her feel better.

Aman and Lilly fell asleep hours ago. The whole talk about Aaryan calling Aman daddy was taken very well and both of them were happy that the other accepted it for it was. Aaryan called Aman daddy and he was okay with it. Hours after putting Aaryan to bed, the pair laid in bed tangled in each other's arms talking. It was definitely Lilly's favourite part of the whole day. Falling asleep in each other's arms.

"Mummy?" A small voice woke her up. Lilly sat up and looked at the clock next to her. 3:43am.

"Aary? What's wrong?" Lilly whispered.

"Bad dream mama." The little boy cried softly.

"Do you need cuddles?" Lilly asked, Aaryan nodded.

"What's wrong?" Aman woke up; concerned.

"He had a nightmare and he wants cuddles."

Aman's face soften. "Climb up little man." He said. The pair watch the little boy as he walked to Aman's side of the bed. Aman lifted him and laid him between himself and Lilly.

"I think daddy gives great cuddles." Lilly mumbled with a smile on her face.

"Daddy?" Aaryan repeated.

"Ya buddy. Daddy." Lilly laughed softly pinching his cheeks.

"Come here." Aman shifted around and pulled Aaryan against his chest. "No more bad dreams." He whispered kissing the side of his head.

"Goodnight mummy. Goodnight daddy." Aaryan smiled to himself as he snuggled closer to Aman's warm buddy and suddenly he wasn't so scared anymore. He felt safe. Aman was his safe haven.
