"Now these towns, they all know our name."

If she could've guessed that she would run into that big ogre again, she would've left school right at lunch. She did not want anything to do with that miserable jerk ever again. But fate was not on her side.

She was just leaving the school grounds. She had exited through the front doors when a football greeted her. In the face.

She recovered quite quickly, ready to chuck the football back at the guilty parties face. And guess who waltzed their way up to retrieve the piece of pig skin?

It was the infamous anti-art guy. In all his moppy haired glory. And he was hysterically laughing his way to her.

"Oh it is fate that this hit you!" He said between laughs.

She hoped her eyes burned holes into his pale face. Anger bubbling in her skin. He had interrupted a good song!

She quickly stuffed her headphones back into her pocket, alongside her phone and tucked the football in her arms. She hoped she could pop it with her nails, but no such luck for her. Her nails were too stumpy.

He wiped imaginary tears from his eyes as he held his hand out. "Gimme the ball back."

She eyed the ball and then eyed the stranger. "No."

His thick eyebrows furrowed once more. (He seemed to do that a lot).

"Don't play this game with me. Gimme the ball."

He quickly stepped forward and attempted to grab the football, but she was much quicker. She dashed to the side.

"I said no." She said, sticking her chin in the air.

"Seriously? I didn't even mean to hit you!" He tried to grab the ball again, but failed to as she was again too quick for him.

"Donnie!" She heard across the parking lot.

"Well, gotta go!" She said, taking off towards her car with the football still tucked in her arm.

"Hey no! That's my ball!" She heard a voice calling behind her.

She was the one laughing now. She could feel tears pricking from the corner of her eyes.

She pumped her legs faster, praying to the heavens to give her some extra endurance. She wasn't the greatest runner, but she hoped she was faster than that big oaf.

She could see her sister leaning up against the red truck. She looked bored as the wild Donnie ran to her vehicle.

"Get in get in get in!" She exclaimed.

She dashed to the other side of the vehicle. Breathing heavily, she threw the door open and chucked the football inside of her car. She could see the boy catching up to her and he was not happy. She quickly started her car just as he had reached her.

She pulled out of the parking lot, earning squealing tires. She shakily threw it into drive and light sped her way out of the school parking lot.

She tried to catch her breath. She hadn't ran that fast in years! She felt like she was going to pass out.

She glanced in the rear view mirror and the best sight was awaiting her. The same curly haired boy shaking his fists angrily shouting at her. She was glad she couldn't hear him. He was most likely cursing her ancestors.

Laughter bubbled out of her mouth. Oh, this was the best decision she had ever made. She still couldn't believe she did it.

"Where did you get this ball, Don?" Her sister asked, perplexed by Donnie's strange behavior.

"Oh, just borrowed it from a friend." She said, laughing to her self.
