"Though the storms will push and pull, we will call this place our home."
"I won't stay long in this world so wrong."

"You are absolutely ridiculous, you know that?"

"Gee thanks, Jane. You're real encouraging." Donnie said.

Jane laughed with a little snort. "I'm sorry Don but sometimes you are just so oblivious."

Donnie had just filled Jane in on what happened at the park. Jane had come over to Donnie's house and Donnie had to tell someone. The whole hunky hunky Derrick story. Jane, being the totally honest friend, had just told Donnie how ridiculous she acted.

Donnie threw her head in her hands, groaning. "I think the only thing that made it worse was that smug buttface."

"Serves you right for taking his football." Jane said, pouring herself a glass of sweet tea.

"He started this! Whatever 'this' is, he started it by sitting in my area!" Donnie said. Her head had whipped up so fast, that her neck felt strained.

Jane laughed, "You are unbelievable. It's just a seat."

Donnie put on her best grumpy cat face. "You know how weird I am about people."

"Yes yes," Jane said, sipping her tea, "but from what I know about that Nick guy, you shouldn't expect him to do anything he's told."

Donnie pondered about that. Jane had also told Donnie that lots of rumors ran around about Nick. Lots of nasty and bad rumors. Donnie didn't like the guy but she refused to by into lies spread by some jerk. Rumors were horrible things and Donnie would never believe any of them.

A small beep broke Donnie out of her thoughts. She looked over at Jane, who was now peeking at her phone.

"That's the Madre. I gotta go." Jane said, picking up her bag.

"Aww, alright. See you later." Donnie said, pouting at her friend.

Jane laughed, leaving the house.

What was Donnie to do now? (Hahaha, you thought that was an actual question didn't you? Poor poor reader.
Donnie will listen to music!)

Donnie rushed to her bedroom. She had had this song stuck in her head all day. She just had to listen to it!

She pulled her headphones out and plugged them into her phone. Her fingers danced across the screen. She pulled the music app up and scrolled to find the song.

The soft melody began to play. Her heart seemed to immediately respond to the music, it slowed down to the beat.

"We will call this place our home..."

She couldn't describe exactly why she liked this song. Maybe it was the calm and soothing sound of the song. The soft caress it brought. Or maybe it was the angel like vocals of Ryan O'Neal.

The song continued to play. She felt peaceful and content. She felt like she was floating on clouds with small cherubs surrounding her.

"Here I stand, helpless and left for dead..."

Well, that was definitely a great song change. She absolutely loved Breaking Benjamin. They had never come to disappoint her. Even their new album Dark Before Dawn was insanely epic!

The song continued to play as she could feel her eyes slowly closing. She fell asleep to Benjamin Burnley screaming in her ears.
