Jak landed in front of the wrap gate, feeling slightly lightheaded and very tingly. He now understood why Samos always complained about how much he hated traveling through them.
Behind him, Jak could hear the faint sound of screaming. As he studied the warp gate, an orange ball of fuzz flew out at him and nailed him in the chest with a powerful blow, knocking the wind out of Jak for a second.
Dax shook his head and picked himself off from the ground. "Man!" He said loudly. "That gave me such a tingly feeling, in places I didn't even know that could tingle!" Jak shook his head at Dax and looked around the place while Dax brushed himself off.
There were large cliffs that stood tall into the sky, some of them Jak didn't even think that he could get himself on top of them to climb. Birds circled far above their heads, cawing down at them for the sudden intrusion on their island. In front of them were weird looking crates, like the ones that were on Sentinel Beach. After Dax climbed up onto his shoulder, Jak made his way forward to them.
Jak felt like he knew deep down what to do, like there was this voice that was inside of him, whispering and encouraging him to hit the boxes, to smash them and break them wide open.
"Jak?" Dax said as Jak took a few steps back and hunched down a bit. "What are you-AAAAAH!"
Dax didn't have time to finish what he was going to say before Jak pushed forward on the ground and lunged himself forward, fist out in front of him, straight into one of the crates. It smashed into a ton of splinters, and weird green orbs floated around the ground. They seem to be calling to Jak, for him to pick them up and put them into the pouch that Samos always makes him carry. He walked up close to the orbs and unhooked the pouch that he kept on his backpack. Suddenly they flew up and went straight toward Jak. He was about to jump out of the way when the pouch started to glow, and all the orbs got absorbed into it.
Jak stared down at the pouch in amazement as a tiny number appeared on the front of it. The number read ten. Jak just shook his head and looked over and Dax, who had his mouth hanging wide open staring at the pouch.
"You know," Dax said, still looking at the pouch, "everything is getting weirder around here. What the hell did we get ourselves into Jak?" He said finally taking his eyes off the pouch and staring at Jak's face.
Jak just shrugged and continued forward towards the other crate. Jak steadied himself again, but this time, he spun. He spun straight at the next crate and it, too, ended up as nothing besides splinter. More of the orbs went into the pouch, and the new number glowed 20. In the only clear spot on the pouch, he noticed that he could faintly see the green things inside.
It was actually quite beautiful. Green dots danced around inside of it, like they were trying to play tag while having no where to go.
"HELLO?!" Dax shouted in Jak's ear. "Are you even listening to me?" Jak turned his head to glare at Dax who ended up just glaring back. "Let's go wonder boy, we have to get through this 'training'."
Jak shook his head and hooked the pouch back onto the backpack where it was, and he continued forward.
As he approached the ledges, he noticed that he saw orbs floating above the ground, and as he started to get closer to them, he noticed that they were the designs on a lot of the Precursor stuff that he has encountered.
A small communication device appeared out of Jak's backpack, startling Dax and almost making him fall of Jak's shoulder. It was a small, green, oval with a screen on the face, a camera on the top, and an antenna sticking out of the back of it. As Jak went to reach for it, Keira's voice came from it as it started to circle them.
