Avengers' Tower Living Room
Few Days Later"I FOUND HIM! I FOUND HIM! I FOUND HIM!" Tiffany yells as she runs into the room. "I FOUND HIMMMM!!" She says in a sing-song voice.
"Congratulations." Clint smiles as he stands up to give his daughter a hug.
"I found him!" She repeats, jumping into his arms.
"Where is he?" He asks, releasing the hug and looking down at her.
"Germany."
"Germany?" I question.
"Germany," She confirms. "Can we take the quinjet to go save him? I can suit up in like... 10 minutes."
"If you can get a team together 'cause I'm sure as hell not going to let the two of us go to Germany to get your boyfriend," He commands.
"I'll join!" I speak up from my place in the kitchen where I was making a sandwich.
"I will also." Wanda nods. "I'm pretty sure Pietro would join too."
"Where is he anyways?" Clint questions.
"Running with Sam." Steve answers. "I will also go too. Maybe Bucky, Al, or Sam might join."
"Woo! Count me in!" Deadpool turns around from his focus on the chimichanga that is in the microwave. "I've always wanted to go to Germany."
"Me too." Natasha walks into the room.
"When are we going to go?" I ask, taking a bite of my sandwich.
"Now." Tiffany announces.
"Now?" We all say.
"It's 7 pm." I point out. "How far away in Germany are we talking?"
"Westerland." She mumbles.
"Westerland?" I walk out of the kitchen. "That's an over 13-hour flight!"
"Yeah, so if we leave now we'll get there at..." She writes the math out in the air. "Eight in the morning."
"We're not leaving now, you have to load up the quinjet." I warn. "If Tony lets us take it."
"What do you mean I have to load up the quinjet?" She questions.
"The person who has conducted the mission has to restock the quinjet." Steve explains. "It's just protocol."
"I'ma go start restocking then." Tiffany runs towards the elevator.
"And I'm going to ask Tony if you can actually use it before you start that!" I call over to her as she enters the elevator. "If you can hear me..." I sigh and make my way over to the stairs that lead up to the lab.
Lab
"Father Stark." I greet as I walk into the lab where he is. "Dr. Banner." I greet him also.
"Hello." They both say back.
"Wowww." I ogle at the work that they're doing as I walk to the table. "This looks cool." I reach out to the hologram of the blueprint. "Hope it doesn't try to destroy the world." I spin the object with a tap.
"Me too." Bruce breaths, looking at the tablet through the bottom of his glasses.
"It's actually for you and Pietro." He swipes the pen to the right making a pair of running shoes pop up. "I was designing these shoes for him and hi--"
"--his speed so they won't burn out his sneakers as quickly as they do." I continue to him, Tony corks an eyebrow up at me. "Pietro gave me the rundown after he got back from trying them on."
"And where did he come back to?" He questions, getting a bit protective.
"The kitchen." I quickly respond.
Tony looks over a Banner who seems too involved in his tablet.
"Anyways." Tony directs his attention back on the hologram as Banner sends a smirk my way, I blush a bit. "The shoes actually tore up faster--"
"And set on fire," Bruce adds.
"Sightly." He mumbles. "So we're fixing some kinks... After we fix all the kinks, we were going to make you a pair too."
"Cool." I nod.
"I know." Tony smirks starting to type on his tablet again. "But what is the reason you came down for?"
"I was wondering if we can borrow the jet so we can go get Peter in Westerland, Germany." I ask.
"Whose going with?"
"Me, Tiff, Steve, Wanda, Clint, Natasha, Pietro, Wanda, Wade, and maybe Bucky, Al, or Sam," I say. "Have to ask those three still."
"Whose conducting the mission?"
"Tiffany," I respond.
"She knows the person who conducted the mis--"
"--mission has to restock the jet, yeah she knows that why I'm asking right now." I finish his sentence.
"Then, yeah, you can borrow the jet." Tony nods.
"Thank you very much, Ms. Limpy." I reference with a smirk, turning to walk away.
"Oh, wait!" He stops me and turns around.
"What?" I turn around to face him.
Tony sets down his tablet and half speed walks/half jogs towards me.
"I have a question for you... it's... important," He warns.
"Shoot," I command.
"What do you think about if I... if I umm..." He scratches the back of his head nervously. "Propose to Pepper?"
"Oh my god, do it now!" I shout making Banner's head snap in our direction.
"I'm not going to do it now." Tony exclaims.
"Why not? You already have to ring!" Banner calls over to us.
"You already have the ring?" My eyes widen. "Why haven't you proposed yet? You've been together for ages!"
"I don't know." He shrugs. "I just... every time I try to, something comes up."
"Like what?" I cross my arms over my chest.
"Attack on DC, Ultron, Pietro dying, Pietro coming back to life, finding Bucky, trying to get Bucky rehablitated, Fury coming to us saying that two of the Avengers have daughters, you guys coming, trying to-"
"Okay, I get it." I hold a hand up to stop him. "You haven't had any time."
"Yeah." He nods. "And I don't know how to do it either."
"Well... take her out on a date you would never take her on." I suggest. "Maybe a picnic in Central Park, a romantic walk after dinner, oh! Maybe you take her up to the roof to look at the stars while having a little midnight snack. And during some comfortable silence you pop the question but you don't kneel. You just start the little speech and take out the bo--"
"Okay, I get it." He holds a hand up this time, stopping me as I dreamily ramble on. "Being chick-flick romantic will land me the 'I do'."
"No, getting the right 'chick-flick' proposal will hand you the yes, not the I do... yet." I smirk, he rolls his eyes.
"Whatever." He sighs and walks back over to Bruce.
"You're welcome, by the way." I call to him.
"Yup." He waves his hand behind him.
