Sonia Nevermind - The Duty of a Princess

Requested by DenielleLouiseDiosoA  and Despair_and_Hope. I hope you guys like it!

And this may have some Sonia x Gundham. . . .I know it's an x reader book but I can't resist! 

She dropped to her knees and cried gently into her hands "I'm sorry, I'm sorry." She repeated over and over again, quietly yet desperately.

"Get up Sonia! Actually nevermind we can wait a minute. Get it NEVERMIND! Upupupupu! But seriously lets move this along!" Monokuma and his despairing puns hurt Sonia even more.

She tried to be fearless as she stood up but her shaking legs told the truth.

"I cannot believe what I have done! I am a Nevermind, a princess and yet I succumbed to my weaknesses and killed a friend! Have I ever been worthy of the title queen?"

Everyone stared at the princess with pity. . . ."Sonia" a voice whispered sadly.

"Haha. . . .ha ha ha. . . . .as a princess I am suppose to protect my people. . . . if I can't do something like that. . . .then maybe being executed is for the best. . . .hahaha. . . ."

 "Sonia what are you saying!?" Kazuichi looked at Sonia with panic. "Are you saying you want to die?!"

"Well. . .it's for the best isn't it? That's right. . . it's for the best." Her eyes widened and as she glared fixedly at the ground. A madness shone in her eyes but quickly disappeared as a voice snapped her out of her thoughts.

It was Gundham's voice

"Sonia, you don't really want to die do you?" He was asking a question but he spoke with certainty as if he knew the answer.

". . . . ."

"Sonia. Please tell me the truth." He didn't speak dramatically like normal and his arrogant face was replaced with one of pleading. "Just be honest with us."

"Gundham I. . . .I do not want to die!!" Tears starting soaking her delicate face as she cried passionately.

"I'm ashamed in myself but. . . .I still want to live! So why? Why does this have to happen?" Her shouts of pain ebbed into quiet moans of hopelessness. "Why was I such an idiot?"

Within that moment though Gundham brought Sonia into a strong hug "You weren't stupid. You were just doing what you needed to do. . . .not even the most brilliant kings and queens make no mistakes. . ." His grip tightened the more he talked but more so when he mumbled to himself 

"Even a Dark Lord like myself can't seem to tell you how I feel. . .  "

"Gundham? what did you say?" Sonia asked curiously, she was hanging on his every word for each one seem to posses it's own piece of hope.

". . . .it's nothing. . . ."

"Alright, enough with the mushy stuff! Lets get on with this!" Monokuma stepped in between the two and shoved them apart.

"Gundham!"

"Sonia!"

But it was too late.

"Now then, I've prepared a very special punishment for Sonia Nevermind the Ultimate Princess!

Lets give it everything we've got! It's. . . PUNISHMENT TIIME! 

Sonia was a puppet. A puppet of Snow White. She was a puppet in Monokuma's little sick and twisted game. The story progressed just like the original story of Snow White but Monokuma knew something the others didn't. 

He watched with pure anticipation as Sonia took a bite of the fated apple. She didn't just faint though. She coughed, she chocked, she clutched at her neck as if she could save herself but everyone knew it was impossible.

Sonia fell to the ground with a thud. 

A lone tear escaped the Ultimate Breeder as her stared at her lifeless body, but a tear would not create a miracle. And no kiss would ever wake her up.

Sonia was dead.

Am I getting used to this?!
