I never knew how much of jerk someone could be before you begin to dislike them. But, thanks to Carina, I quickly found that out.
I've been working at Kiddie Campus for a whole week now, and she has been nothing but rude to me.
She constantly tries to embarrass me by yelling at me in front of the kids, and she tries to make me feel stupid.
It is only my first week here, so of course I'm not going to know everything.
So whenever I do something wrong, she makes it her mission to make me feel as stupid as possible.
And it pisses me off so much. I hate being told what to, and her constantly in my ear, isn't very pleaser.
But, I can't do much about it.
Usually I try and control my temper, but it's to no avail. But this time, I literally can't lose my temper with her.
She is basically the boss of this place. Sine she's the "general manager."
So I've been having to bite my tongue this entire time.
But today, I decided that I would finally speak up about something that has been bothering me.
And that is the fact that Joey's schedule is completely opposite of mine. And whenever we due have the same shift, Carina is quick to send Joey on break while I continue to work.
I mean, I wasn't expecting us to have the same exact shifts, but I feel like she set it up this way.
She does make the schedule.
So, I swallow a breath of fresh air before marching to her office.
And on the record, it's not really her office. It's supposed to be a janitors closet, but she decided to turn it into her office.
How pathetic.
I open the door and see her writing something down on a sheet of paper.
"Hello." I say, catching her attention.
She looks up at me and smiles before looking back down at her paper.
What was that?
"Uh, Carina." I say.
"Yes Ms.Sweet." She says.
Who is she calling miss? I'm two years younger than her.
"Uh- I have a tinny tiny problem." I say, moving my fingers together to emphasis me saying the word tiny.
"And what would that be?" She asks.
"Well, Joey and I never have the same shifts. Like- ever. And when we do, magically, one of us has to go on break. I wasn't exactly expecting us to work together 24/7. But he is my ride home, so I would really appreciate it if you could give us more shifts together."
