Twenty Nine

"Hello everyone. I know a lot of you are not very pleased to see me right now...,"

Kuzco, from The Emperor's New Groove, shouts out, "No duh!" Earning lots of laughs from the crowd. "Oh and by the way, don't you have plans at the castle right about now?"

More laughs. I clear my throat. "Yes," I declare. "I do have plans. Plans to help you and your people save Fairy Godmother who remains prisoner inside." I turn to the other side of the room, which has been silenced. "I came here with the purest of intentions," I start to say before Jamba, the four-eyed alien from Lilo and Stitch, interruptes me.

"Then why did you retreive her book for the enemy?" He asks.

People in the crowd nod their heads. "Yeah!" They shout in agreement. I look to Dastan for approval before proceeding. Should I show them or not?

He gives me the signal.

"I didn't give the villains Fairy Godmother's book," I say loudly, watching Dastan with every word. He already knows all this, but the people don't. Some are in shock, or better yet, disbelief. I divert my eyes from Dastan and to the audience. "You have to believe me." I say as I pull the shiny blue book from under my shirt. I open the cover, flipping through the pages, looking for something to prove its althencity. "Look," I say holding it out to the audience.

Belle steps forward with her hand held out. "May I?" she says gently. I nod and carefully hand the book to her as a flock of people come to her side, including the Cast Members. After thoroughly looking through the book she hands it back to me. "She's right," she announces, "it's real."

I smile. They believe me!

"But if this is the book," Aurora says, catching me off gaurd, "then how has Malificent been able to capture Fairy Godmother without it?"

I bite my lip, thinking for a logical answer. You out of all people know Malificent's powers, I think. Yeah. That makes sense, I'll go with that. "Malificent could capture Fairy Godmother without a book, especially with the help of the other villains." I tell Aurora.

"This is our chance!" I declare. "They'll be caught off gaurd when they find the book I gave them was a hoax. That's when we attack. We can win." I announce, gaining confidence from a little song I've heard all too many times. "But only if we're all in this together."

The room is silent. Cast Member's give questioning glances to each other. Characters think to themselves. All before the room bursts in applause. "Bravo!" Belle shouts.

Dastan smiles at me from across the room. I wink back.

"Now," I say, turning toward Mulan, Shang, and their warriors, "let's get down to business."

After creating a sureproof plan each group of heroes took their places, meanwhile, Dastan and I stayed behind.

"You can't go in there." The cast member in charge had said when Dastan suggested going straight into the castle through the underground elevator. "The elevator is down for repairs. Has been so for the past two days."

I told Dastan that that would make sense. If the villains had planned nothing else, surely they'd make sure we couldn't just walk in while they kill The Fairy. "Tremaine is at Cinderella's Royal Table nearly everyday, she could definitely get in that elevator and mess some things up." I explained.

It was disappointing to know we couldn't go the easy route, but I had another plan.

Following the other group who had gone to the Utilidoors, Dastan and I ran up the stairs closest the the castle. Sure enough, when we creaked the door open we had a perfect view of Fantasyland. The Queen of Heart's army of cards stand around the castle, they're arms looping toether to put a barrier between The Queen and the rest of the park.

"So marching right through the front door is out of the question too," I note quietly. Dastan evidently finds this funny and laughs out loud. I cover his mouth quickly. "Shh!" I whisper. Thankfully no one heard him, but my weary minds looks at all quarters from the doors opening just to make sure.

I look up and gasp. Already I see what trouble us so called heroes are in for.
