There was a long pause and I couldn't stand it.....at all. It always killed me a little to see him hurt or knowing that he's hurt.
"Matt, you alright?" "Yea, yea, fine," I know he's faking, FAKER! "listen ummm I'm gonna call you later. Alright?" "Yea, bye"
"Ooooo bad boy all sad?" Kate said jokingly "Yep. All thanks to this girl" I said while pointing at myself "It's not your fault..... It's your moms." I have to admit, as down in the dump I am, that was pretty funny.
"Darling," she said in a fake British accent "don't be down in the dumps, be up in the dumps" "Easy for you to say" I mumbled.
"Has the idea ever came to you?" She asked "what idea?" I said cautiously "THE idea!" "Again, WHAT idea?!"
"Oh, my goodness. Has the idea ever came to you that YOU, as in Carly Parker likes him, as in Matt Clark and Matt Clark aka one of the school's bad boys likes you aka the school's geekiest girl." She finished off with a smirk.
