Chapter 11: The dance floor

Matt's POV

"I'm going to go join them." I heard Nick say. "Me too." Reece joined Nick. "Same here." Connor added. "Count me in!" Logan said and they all left.

Then there was one, I thought. "Hey wait up!" I yelled.

We got to the 'dance floor' and I have to admit, it was pretty nice. I looked around for Carly and noticed she was talking with Richard.

Richard is this guy and he's known for being a player and breaking girls hearts. But Carly doesn't know that because Richard came to our school whenever Carly left for Italy.

Richard had Carly against a wall with his arm on her left side of her head. I was pretty sure he was going to make a move.

Lucky for me, a slow song came on so I walked over to Carly and asked "Do you want to dance?" I noticed she blushed when I finished my question. I have to after, it was.... pretty adorable.

**Dance floor**

"So how do you like the party so far?" I asked, trying to make a conversation. "It's beautiful here and you're a pretty good dancer might I add." Carly said while doing a little laugh.

God, she's so cute. No, cute doesn't describe her. Wonderful, adorable, great. So many words could describe her but whatever I use, doesn't sound like the right word to use.

"You look beautiful." I said. She did this smile. A gorgeous smile that I've never seen from any girl on this planet. "Thank you. You look good too yourself." She replied.

A half smile crept onto my lips. No girl, ever, has made me feel this way. "You should keep that smile. It makes you look sexy," Carly said "but slightly cocky." She added, with a laugh. "I guess this song it done." She said.

"Yep. How about we dance to the next slow dance?" I suggested. "Why wait then? Why not now?" Carly asked.

"Alright." I said with a full smile and we danced to the best song ever.

After the third or fourth song Richard cut in asking if he could dance with Carly. Not wanting him to know that I have feelings for Carly, I let him.

I walked to a table and sat. I watched them, especially Richard. I couldn't stand him being with Carly... At all.

I was scared that he would make a move on her, since the lights are low and they're slow dancing.

But I was most afraid that he would have her and leave her with a broken heart in the end.

"How's Carly and Richard?" Logan said while walking up to my table. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Dude, just tell me. No ones around." "Tell you what?"

"Stop being such a motherf*cker and admit it to me that you like Carly." "Why would I like her? She just got back from Italy and she's my best friend."

"Haven't you read books? Or seem movies?" Logan asked. "Is that a trick question?" I answered.

"Books or movies or whatever, there's these movies and books that I've read and the boy and girl are best friends and they start liking each other but they won't admit it and finally near the end of the whatever they finally admit and they get together." Logan finished "Just like Romeo and Juliet." he added.

"Alright, if I admit it, you won't tell the guys?" I asked cautiously. "Promise. Cross my heart, hope to die." Logan replied.

"Okay. So I really like her ever since I can remember and when she moved to Italy it killed me a little. And now that she's back I want her to be mine but Richard, it looks like he wants her too." I took deep breath "And my worst fear is that she'll take Richard and he'll leave her with a broken heart in the end." I finished.

I turned to Logan because he didn't reply to anything I've said. So I followed what he was staring at and he was staring at Carly and Richard.

I turned to watch them and I felt as if my heart had been ripped out of my chest because it hurt me, so much to see what they were doing.

So I'm tearing up right now because of what I have in mind for the next chapter.

Maybe it's just me.... I'm too emotional!!

But it really is sad to see a bad boy heart broken... I've sorta seen one... Kinda

But anyways! You see the part where I use "we danced to the best song ever" yep, I got that from 1D but I don't want to use the song so I just used those words... IM SO CREATIVE!
