It looked like he was calling out to me but no sound came out of his mouth. I gasped as he suddenly collapsed, I ran to him with all the energy I had left inside me.
Someone laughed behind me as tears escaped my eyes.
'Please! Please don't leave me!' I choked out and shook his shoulders trying to wake him from his never ending sleep.
I looked behind me as I felt someone staring at me.
'He's dead.' the shadow whispered
Frantically I looked all around me but couldn't find the source of where the voice came from. Crying, I cuddled up beside him and closed my eyes hoping that this was just a dream.
