'You what?' I couldn't believe what my mother was talking about.

'I said that I agreed to tutor you and your friend.' my mom repeated

'We're not even friends!'

She sighed and rubbed her blue eyes that were similar to mine. My mother had golden blonde hair that she always had up in a bun. And she usually dresses very casual even if we are very rich, 'cause she is humble. Don't get me wrong, she is sweet and I love her very much but sometimes, she really gets on my nerves when she decides things about me without asking me!

'Well, whether you like it or not I will be tutoring you both. It's too much of a waste if she learns from that crazy school.'

I sighed in defeat and my mother smiled in triumph. I trudged towards my room which was located on the second floor of our house.

The house had three floors including the basement. The basement was usually for studying and tutoring. It was bright down there and had a few tables to study on. On the first floor there was a living room that we watched tv in and the kitchen which was connected to the dining room. The floor was a dark brown color and the walls were a pastel light brown color making the atmosphere very warm and cozy. There was a small hallway on the first floor that led to my mom and dad's room which was very big. I wasn't allowed in there so even I didn't know how it looked like inside. The second floor was all mine. There were three rooms. On the left we had my bedroom, to the right the study room and the guest room in the middle. Oh, and the huge bathroom connected to my room and the guest room. Like the first floor the floor to my 'floor' was a dark brown but the walls were a gradient color of red.

I opened the door to my room, threw on my jacket and walked back out of the room and then out of the house.

I was on my way to the shelter. I had a feeling that Adrianna would be there looking for her phone since she doesn't know that I have it. It only took about 7 minutes to walk to my location so I didn't need to take the bus or anything. I lived in the 'rich people's area' near the school, at least that's what kids in school called it.

Adrianna wouldn't be able to find her mobile. The reason was because I had her phone in my front left pocket right now. She had dropped it and as I had called the ambulance I had found it on the ground.

As planned, I got to the shelter after 7 minutes of walking. Looking around, I tried to find Adrianna somewhere.

'Kai, is it you?' Said a voice from behind a corner. A head stuck out and my heart fluttered by the sight of her. And as always, I didn't know why. A smile played on her lips which made me smile back.

'Hi Dianna."

~ Adrianna's P.O.V ~

Dianna? Dianna, it was a nickname only two people had called me in my life. My father, and my best friend Amanda back in the orphanage. It had been a long while since someone called me that, in some way, the name was special for me. Only the people I love called me that. But here comes Kai and breaks the barrier. My smile faded away as he said it, because it awakended burried memories.

'Are you okay?' Kai asked, as he saw my smile go away when he greeted me.

'Yeah, look.. I wanted to thank you for what you did yesterday. I don't know what would've happened if you weren't there. I guess that crazy man would have killed me, so I basically owe you my life.' I stoppad as I had to breath since I had blurted everything out as if it was a chant. 'Thank you, again. Kai.' I said gratefully to end my little speech.

'No need to thank me, but Dianna -'

'Would you please stop calling me Dianna?' Why Adrianna? Do you really want to hang on to the past?
Kai seemed a bit shocked by that question, since it didn't have something with the subject to do.
'Uhm.. yeah sorry' He said, uncertain of why I even bother.

'Anyways, we need to talk about what happened. Adrianna.. I think you have some sort of powers..?'

'Powers? What do you mean powers? I think you are reading way to much science fiction Kai.' I frowned and answered back with a voice full of sarcasm.

'No Adrianna, then how do you explain what you did? And how did you even get that much water?'
That was when I realized that he was right. There is no other explanation other than that. But seriously, powers? What Kai is saying may be right, but there is only one way to surely know. Try this 'power' of mine.

'You know what? I think what you are saying can be tested. Let's try, and see if I can do it again. And if I can't, then we forget about this matter. Deal?'

'Deal.' He said, sure of himself.

'By the way Adrianna, have you heard the news?' Kai said again, changing the subject.

'Huh? What news?' I asked confused. What does he know that I don't?

'My mother is going to tutor us two, at my house every day from 10 til 5.'

'WHAT?! IS IT YOUR MOTHER?' I shouted, which made him chuckle at my reaction. Mrs. Jade never said anything about him!

'Yes, why? Do you hate me that much?' He said, amused. I opened my mouth to answer just to close it back again. That question made me speechless, did I hate him? I don't think so, I just dislike him, because he has been annoying since the day he arrived.
My silence made him laugh again.

'I guess you do. Haha trust me, I will change that opinion of yours once you start to get to know me.' He said and winked at me. With that, the blonde guy turned around and got back the way he came.
