~Lacey's POV~

I feel something soft beneath me and the warmth of sunlight on my skin. I feel cocooned in a duvet, but I can't be. Can I?

I struggle to awaken from my sleeping state, my mind groggy and heavy. I rub my eyes with my fists hoping that they'll open, but when they do my vision is hazy and I am unable to make out my surroundings. It's not a car that's for sure.

I roll over on my side and before I even realise it I've hit the floor with a thud. What the hell?!

I get onto my hands and knees and crawl towards what I believe is a door. I stop and sit back down, rubbing my eyes again until my vision goes back to normal.
I'm still in yesterday's clothes but have a terrible bed head, how did I get here?

I find myself standing eventually so that I can explore my new environment.
I turn around and see a large double bed behind me, the walls are painted white and there are various pictures dotted around on the walls. There is also a large window that is covered over by a blind, and beside it sits a dressing table with my make up bag sitting on it to the side.

I leave the bedroom and head down the corridor, I'm hidden in the shadows here. Where is Noah?
As I turn the corner I come across the living room; it's large and there are huge windows that look out onto the neighbouring mountain which is covered with trees. There are grey and lime green sofas a coffee table places in the centre of them. The kitchen is connected; wooden with black granite work tops although it's not as big as the kitchen back at their home.

I search the cupboards for glasses,
I could really do with a glass of water; I think I'm dehydrated. The cupboards seem to be endless, but knowing my luck it's the last one that I check that has the glasses in it. I put it under the tap and watch as the liquid flows into the glass. Water has always made me feel at peace.

As I'm drinking my eyes are drawn back to the living room and I can feel another humans presence. I scan the room quickly before noticing Noah still fast asleep on the sofa. What time did we actually get here? Where am I? Because I wasn't told where we were going.

I head over to the sofa that is opposite him and sit down as quietly as possible, trying not to wake him. I take a sip from my glass and lay my head back so that I'm starring at the ceiling.
Wow. Never in my wildest dreams did I picture myself sitting here. Maybe I did do the right thing after all?

'You need to get dressed' a voice calls out inside my head. But where the heck is the bathroom? This place is so big!

I leave the living room, but not before I pull one of the blankets out from under the coffee table and cover Noah up so that he's warm. He looked so peaceful.

I then retrace my steps until I am back in my bedroom. I'm so stupid I say to myself as I notice anther door, I step inside and it's an en-suite. So so so stupid. Maybe if I used my brain a little more I wouldn't have to wonder such stupid questions.

I close the door and peel myself out of yesterday's outfit, I run the shower waiting for it to get warm. I step inside and my body is covered in goosebumps as the hot water hits my head and travels down my back, I close my eyes.......

*FLASHBACK*

"Lacey?" Mum calls, "Lacey?"

I had just finished zipping up the back of my dress, it was peplum with a white lace top but the skirt was green. I had my black high heels on, my face perfectly made up with my signature red lipstick. I was ready for another one of mums hellish party's, I begged to go with dad and his friends shooting but she refused and said I was needed here. I didn't want to play servant and nanny.
