-Kyung Mi's POV-

Plan initiation of 'finding' Wei.

"Does everybody understand?" I asked. All of us hurdle up in a circle, wearing all black except for Gyujin whom is wearing normal clothes.

"YES MA'AM!" They saluted and I giggled.

"Okay, let's set everything up.."

2 hours later..

-Wei's POV-

"GYUJIN! WHERE ARE YOU?!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, I was worried for him.. the video call that i received wasn't anything good.

Flashback.

*ringggrinnnggg*

I heard my phone rang as i sat under a tree facing the ocean. The ocean was really blue and beautiful. The ocean breezed calmed me down and sweep away my sorrow.

Incoming video call: Gyujin💞

Gyujin has been my bestfriend since forever. I decided to accept his video call although i knew that he will know exactly where i am.

Just as I clicked accept, my jaw dropped and my heart beats out of my chest. I began to sweat.

He was tied up to a chair, he was bleeding through his white shirt and his hair was wet. There are two guys standing beside him. One, holding a baseball bat and the other, holding a butcher knife. The identity of both two men was unidentifiable as they were wearing black ski masks.

"LET HIM GO!" I shouted at my phone.

"Be here @ the warehouse where you used to hang out with him. Poor boy, wandering here alone not knowing that this belongs to The King."

"I'll be there. In 10 mins. DO NOT TOUCH HIM OR ELSE!" I threatened but they ended the call right after.

End of flashback.

I ran towards the middle of the warehouse and the lights were suddenly switched off. I heard footsteps running around. I turned around and around, trying to follow the sound. I would be lying if i said that i was brave.

The lights switched on and i turned around. She was standing in front of me, she had bruises around her cheekbones and her arms. I held her wrists and asked, "What happened to you?! Where is Gyujin?!"

She responded me with a small smile and tears were flooding her eyes. Seeing her sad broke me into pieces and I couldn't help myself but to hug her, telling her that everything will be alright.

"I m-missed y-you." She said and I kissed her, passionately.

"Kyung Mi, you have no idea how much i missed you. But can you please, tell me where's Gyujin and what happened to you?" I begged.

She sniffled and let out a laugh.

"He is just behind there, with the rest of the boys. He is okay, see?" She pointed behind her. It was dark, all i could see was silhouette of man figures. One by one walked out of the darkness and I knew that this was a set up.

All of them came running towards me, hugging and pulling me. Them saying things like,

"We missed you so much."
"Welcome back,Wei."
"Where have you been?"
"How are you?"
"Did you eat well?"

I realised that my problems are not only shared by myself but also shared with them. We are a family and I can never see a life without them.

"Care to explain what's going on here?" I looked at Gyujin whom was hiding behind Kogyeol.

"Well, here's the mastermind behind all of this." Wooshin grabbed Kyung Mi by her shoulders and lightly pushed her in front of me.

"WE WILL LEAVE YOU TWO TOGETHER, OKAY? BYE!" Xiao shouted and all of them ran out of the warehouse.

To be honest, I was glad that they left me alone with her. There are many things i wanted to know about her. Things that may break my heart and things that can help me to move on. I waited for her to say something but i knew she couldn't put it in the right words. I was getting tired of waiting so I started walking off.

She then grabbed my wrists and I stopped walking. Her grip was tight as if she was sure not to let me go, not anymore.

"Wei, please don't go" She begged.

"I will go if you're not going to start explaining" She sighed.

"All these bruises are from Jungkook. He tried to raped me when I tried to escape his hou-" I cut her off,

"Why did you try to escape?"

"Shussh and listen to the whole story." She placed her finger onto my lips.

(￢_￢;)

"I overheard his conversation about you with one of his friends over the phone," She began explaining all the details that happened, "Kogyeol found me and brought me home. I told them what happened and we planned all of this."

"Wait.. let me sink all of this in. Sorry I'm kinda slow at processing things," It took me quite a while to put everything together into my head and i finally understood what she said," I am innocent?"

She giggled, "Yes, you are."

"Have you ever stopped loving me?"

"How could i? When you're the only thing that crossed my mind. The only reason I breathe and the only reason i smile. I should've stayed with you and trust you rather than to be with that Jerk. Sorry for being so useless."

"Hey.. it's okay. I know how you must have felt. I know that it's hard to be with someone like me. I understand if you're terrified of me. Now that you are here, let's build a strong relationship together." I motivated her.

Home.

It's nice to have everybody together again. The room that is filled with laughter warms my heart, i never thought that this day will come again but i guess i was wrong. Things do get better and we just need to hold on.

I have not forgotten about the bet. I just don't bother about it anymore. When i left the house, everybody was worried about me including Kuhn. My phone was blown up by their messages and calls. Therefore, if i lost the bet, all of them will stay by my side that's for sure. Kuhn is actually a nice guy and no doubt he is in love with Kyung Mi. I mean, who wouldn't? A girl like that, sweet, smart and beautiful, nobody can resist her.

When she told me about Jungkook, i was angry and jealous of him. He gets to hold her and see her smile for the days that I didn't get to. It pains me that he betrayed not only my trust but hers as well. The thought of him coming back to her haunts my mind as if i am facing death the next day. I am terrified. Terrified that he will do something to her. Something awful and inhumane.

I promised myself on this day forth, I will protect her. Protect her with all my heart and to cherish her like tomorrow's our last day together.
