"Luna? Love! Gosh look at you! All grown up. My beautiful baby!"

Everyone else went silent as me and Harry entered.

There was a woman hugging me.
Her hair was blonde, her eyes held a gorgous, calming grey tone and her fingers were soft as they gently stroked through my hair.
Her voice was straight from heaven and her smile was the brightest the world had ever seen.

As she hugged me to her, the only thing I could do was stay limp in her hold, empty eyes starring, yet not seeing anything.
"Love? Are you alright?", there was the calming voice again.
It was the voice I had missed all those years.
The voice that I would yearn to hear when we didn't know what to do.
The voice I had almost forgotten the sound of, yet how could I not remember?

She smelled just like she did when she kissed me goodbye every morning and goodnight every evening.

Standing right in front of me, concern obvious in her silver eyes, was my mother.

My mum.
She was right here.

Oh how often had I dreamt of this moment.
Oh how often had I imagined this moment.

I imagined that I'd run to her, engulfing her in my arms, telling her how much I loved her.
I imagined happy tears streaming down my face as she whispered words of love and comfort while kissing my hair, holding me tightly.

And now?
Now she was right here, keeping me an arm's length away from her to look at me properly.
I took a look behind her and saw my siblings.
Darren had doubt written all over his face, sitting on our worn out sofa while Nash was stood in front of David in a protective manner, both of them clearly not sure what to do. Amelia on the other hand just sat on the floor in front of the sofa, starring up at all of us, tears still streaming down her face as she grasped onto Darren's leg.

I swiftly turned, seeing Harry standing there, emerald eyes confused, scanning the room before they landed on me and immediately softened, taking in my distraught appearance.

I stalked forward, needing him close to me as I came to a halt in front of him and turned back around to face my mother, both of Harry's comforting hands on my shoulders.

"What are you doing here?", Nash was the first one to speak up, obviously angry.
"I'm back, my loves! I'm sorry for leaving but I'm here now and I'm back for good.", she smiled, yet that smile vanished soon when David huffed.
"So, you left us alone for four years, not telling us where you were, nor helping us one bit and now you think you can just stroll in here and everything will be fine? I'm sorry but no, mother.", I've never heard so much venom in David's voice as his blue eyes burned with rage.
"Sweetheart, I know I made a mistake, but people deserve second chances. And I would beg you to give me one. I know I must've hurt you a lot when you discovered I was gone, especially after loosing your father. But think about what I was going through! I had lost the love of my life and I didn't know what else to do! I grew depressed and aggressive and when I hurt Darren that day, oh my beautiful boy, I was so scared! I was scared of myself, so I left. I couldn't bear the thought of hurting you guys.", she rambled, tears welling up in her eyes.

"And what makes you think you won't hurt us now?", it was the first time Darren had really looked up, pain and anger obvious as he pulled Amelia up, pulling her behind him as he stood.

He looked so strong and protective and I was so thankful to have him here at the moment.
I couldn't utter a sound as I looked between Darren and my mother, still too shocked to think straight.
"I went through therapy and I've gotten it under control, believe me Darren. I am truly sorry and I want to make it up to you. All of you.", it was obvious that she was sincere, yet none of us could forget the pain and sadness we had felt over the past years and it somehow all came crashing down on me.

"You realise that you have no right to just walk in here and expect us to act like nothing happened.", I finally spoke and got an approvin nod from Nash.
"I know. I know it'll take a lot of time, but I'm willing to wait and fight."
"Darren?", Amelia looked up at him, her big grey eyes still blurred by tears as he bent down to her level.
"Yes darling?", I could tell he was still shaken up, but he remained strong for our sakes.
"Who is that woman? She looks a lot like mummy in the pictures."
"Love, that is mummy. Do you not recognize her?", Darren asked, taking her small hand in his.
Amelia just shook her head, cuddling into Darren's chest as my mum gasped.
"My little Amelia, you don't remember?"
"She remembers. She just doesn't know you.", Nash spat before he grabbed David's arm, picked up Amelia and left to go upstairs.
"I don't understand. I already thought you'd be upset and hurt and that you wouldn't accept me right away but I never thought that you were so angry and unforgiving. I didn't raise you like that.", the blonde woman shook her head as she took a seat on the sofa, clearly disappointed.
"Come to think of it, you didn't raise Amelia at all.", I mumbled and her head snapped up.
"Excuse me?"
"Luna's right. We raised Amelia, not you. Nash and David always looked up to us, not you and Luna and I, well we didn't have anyone to look up to for the past four years.", Darren stepped in, taking a few steps forward to come and stand next to Harry and me.
"I think it's best for you to leave now.", he said, an expression on his face that clearly said not to argue with him.
"If that's what you want. Just know that I'm sorry. I'm staying at the London Bridge hotel and I'll leave you my number if you change your mind. Just know that it was incredibly good to see you and I'm still very proud of you." she said, before leaving.

So much for fighting.

"Oh my god.", I mumbled, tears finally forming in my eyes.
"Hey, Luna. It's okay. We'll get through this, just like we got through everything before, alright?", Darren came to stand in front of me, pulling me into his strong chest.
"Just know that I've always had someone to look up to.", I mumbled, wiping my tears.
"Who?"
"You."
