After waking up from dying in his sleep, Levi questions what he should do with his life. On top of that, he's gained an unwanted friend: Dr. Hanji Zoe, who was present when he woke up.
Everything points back to him rejoining the Survey Corps, but he...
***Hey, guys! Sorry I haven't updated in, what seems like, forever. I've got acute bronchitis - had it for three days now. Trust me, it ain't fun. :( Anyway, because of that, Chapter 13's been done, but I never got a chance to post it, and I haven't touched the beginning of Chp. 14 ever since I got sick. In the words of Captain Levi:

Whatever, though! Here's Chapter 13. Enjoy, comment, vote, rant - whatever us AoT fans do. Also, I met Bryce Papenbrook (English voice of Eren Jaeger) this past weekend. Do you know how COOL that was?
Hanji's POV
It was two weeks later that Hanji heard that the Survey Corps had been granted the funds to go on another expedition. What made her even more excited was that Commander Erwin had, in fact, even her permission to bring a Titan back.
"Bring two, if you like" Erwin said, "Just do your job."
"Yes, sir!"
This time, though, Hanji was placed in a squad with Moblit instead of Levi. At first, the captain was explicitly against Hanji riding out with anyone but him, but Cadet Moblit swore on his life to keep an eye on Hanji.
"He helped me take care of you" Hanji reasoned, "I'm sure Moblit can watch over me as I catch a specimen."
As she flew around like a child in a cake shoppe, though, Hanji was giving Moblit a run for his money.
"Hanji, please, be careful!"
Hanji cackled as she and two other soldiers flew around a 3-meter Titan with messy blonde hair. The three soldiers landed on nearby tree branches and then pulled out rifles, ready to catch their prey. In the two weeks Hanji had before the expedition took place, she had gotten her hands on a handful of older model rifles that Military Police no longer wanted. She attached a wheel of wire to the bottom of the rifle, pulled the beginning of the wire through the rifle's barrel, and added a grapple hook to the end.
Now, everything was ready to capture the Titan.
With a smirk, Hanji shrieked, "FIRE!"
Three grappling hooks flew across one another, spiraled around the Titan, and shot in his forehead, his stomach, and his left knee. Though not completely incapacitated, the Titan was clumsy, so it fell down flat on its face.
"Woohoo!"
Hanji flew down to the ground, the rifle clutched in her hands.
"Nala, Cassie! Call the other group and have this one taken away. We need one more!"
With a nod, the latter shot a green flare into the sky while Nala slit the Titan's ankles to keep it from getting up. A few moments later, the second group showed up and split into two. The first half transported the first Titan, and Hanji took the second half to go pick out another specimen.
