Family Resolutions Chapter 6

"NAOTAKE!" Naomi shouted.

Naotake took off his shades,and got up on the bench.

"What...?" He replied,not knowing what is happening.

"We are gonna start training. Gather your battle shinkis." Naomi said.

"A-alright...Osatoi,call Kagisatoi." Naotake told Osatoi.

"Yes,master." Osatoi replied,and went in.

After a few minutes,Osatoi came back with a teenage-looking boy with blonde hair and blue eyes.

"Kagisatoi is here,master." Osatoi said.

"What do you want to see me about,master?" Kagisatoi asked.

"Kenki!" Naotake shouted.

The kanji word "鍵" could be seen. Kagisatoi then turned into a sword with a decorative blue and yellow hilt.

"Um...only one?" Naomi asked.

"He's the only battle shinki I have!" Naotake said,chuckling.

"Yep,and he has been using him for like,20 years already." Naoto added.

"Come,we are gonna search for a new battle shinki," Naomi said. "But don't worry,Kagisatoi,you'll always be Naotake's sword."

"That's good to hear,lady Naomi." Kagisatoi said.

"Where are we gonna find one?finding good and usable shinkis are hard." Naoko said.

"Don't worry,I'll be back soon," Naomi said. "Meanwhile,Naoto, teach Naotake some sword skills."

"Okay." Naoto said.

With that,Naomi hopped onto Chiki(Chitori in her shinki form).

"Let's go,Chiki! To our house in Takamagahara!" Naomi said.

"Okay." Chiki replied.

Chiki flew to Naomi's shrine in Takamagahara. Naomi got off.

"Wait here,all of you.I'll be right back," Naomi said. "Shiki!"

"Yes,master." All the other shinkis said.

Shiki(Yohari in her shinki form) flew to Naomi's hands.

"You'll be coming with me." Naomi said.

"Yes,master." Shiki replied.

Naomi went into her shrine and into a dark room. It was filled with unnamed floating shinkis. Naomi dragged one into a cage using her magic. She used Shiki to lock it. Shiki could lock and unlock any lock. With that,Naomi went out and hopped onto Chiki.

"Let's go back to Naotake's shrine." Naomi said.

"Yes,master." Chiki replied,and took off.

After a few minutes,they arrived at Naotake's shrine. Naomi saw Naoto training Naotake.

"Good job,Naoto," Naomi said. "I have got an unnamed shinki from my shrine.Here,Naotake."

With that,Naomi opened the cage with Shiki.

"Thank you..." Naotake said.

The naming process began.

"You,with nowhere to go and nowhere to return...I grant you a place to belong. My name is Naotake. Bearing a posthumous name,you shall remain here. With this name,I make thee my servant. With this name and alternate,I use my life to make thee a Regalia! Thou art Shiiru! As Regalia, Kyō! Come...Kyōki!" Naotake recited,and drawing out the kanji word "强". The shinki then turned into a rifle. Naotake saw his past. It's now the "God's Most Guarded Secret".

"Woah!It became a rifle!" Naoto exclaimed. "Naomi!I want one too!"

"Make do with your shinkis,bro." Naomi told him.

"Humph...fine." Naoto said,dissatisfied.

Naomi then made an illusion phantom.

"Go on,Naotake. Take this one down with your Kenki and Kyōki." Naomi said.

"Yes..." Naotake replied.

Naotake charged forward and shot it with his rifle.

"You who would desecrate this land of the rising sun! With my advent, I,the Naotake God...lay waste with the Kenki...and expel thy vast defilement!" Naotake recited and slashed the illusion phantom. The illusion phantom disappeared.

Naomi clapped.

"Well done," Naomi said. "You passed this round."

"You did exceptionally well,bro." Naoto commented.

"You slashed the illusion phantom very well!" Naoko said.

"Thank you,everyone," Naotake said. "Revert,Shiirusatoi."

The rifle then turned into a teenage-looking boy with dark brown hair and orange eyes.

"Shiirusatoi,from now on,this is your home. You would be serving under me." Naotake said.

"Fine." Shiirusatoi said.

"Why is he like that?" Naoko whispered to Naomi.

"Maybe he just missed the old dark room," Naomi said. "I believe he will adjust well."
